The runs come in the 1st inning and you're unlucky.

I guess only runs scored in innings 2-8 are justified.
It's baseball, runs aren't scored in a linear fashion.
While David's working on his hockey numbers, how about a shout-out to John Tavares, who got 2 goals and 2 assists in the first period tonight. Dwayne Roloson was not sharp for Tampa, but it was nice to see the Islanders play a full 60 minutes. I'm looking for David's opinion of Saturday's game, when the Rangers visit the Island.
Thanks, John. I expect the Rangers to be rusty, but ready. In my opinion, Isles should be -120, but the Rangers will get bet down. Even though game is in Nassau, it's Rangers only local appearance until October 27 due to renovations to the Garden. Just curious about an out-of-town perspective.
I do think the Islanders will trade Nabokov once they establish some value. The 3 goalie system does not work. Kind of hoping they stay under the radar a little longer. Last night was a perfect example of getting a good price on a low-profile team.
