Last year, Wolves finished an impressive 7th in the EPL, behind a list of big-spenders (MC-LIV-CFC-TOTT-ARS-MUFC), and qualified for the UEFA Europa League, its first European tourney in 29 or 39 years (fog in bog). In this match, Manager Nuno Espirito Santo gets GK Rui Patricio back along with scorers Raul Jiménez and Diogo Jota and Ryan Bennett, Ruben Neves, Matt Doherty—switching sports and back from years hooping at NC—and Jonny.

And with Strikers Patrick Cutrone and Pedro Neto impressing in early UEFA EL play, these Wanderers will have some solid scoring on the Bench and be a bitch to beat here on Waterloo Road. In the series at Home, Wolves are an impressive 23-8-11 (W-D-L) against MUFC and Wolverhampton won at Home last year vs the Red Devils, 2-1 on a Chris Smalling OG at 77 minutes. Both should score here with the (if) 3rd Goal possibly being the be-all and end-all (Jota) for the Side and Total (2½u -140).

Other Trends pointing to backing the Home underdogs: Wolves were 2-1-0 in all competitions vs MUFC last year (2-0-0 at Home) and are unbeaten in their L8 at Molineux (6-2-0). The Red Devils (+140), who thrashed CFC 4-0 at Old Trafford Week 1—are winless their L5 on the Road (0-1-4) in EPL play and are in the Wolves den at the wrong time—for the Home opener. Send a wet nurse?

My eog picks on Monday seem to lose lately (VfL Wolfsburg, TB Rays) and all my Soccer picks last week seemed to tie somehow, so bettor better beware. I will not be betting on this one. But I see perceived value in Wolverhampton here. The first Goal will be everything for tone, and with Jiménez and Jota back, the Wanderers should get 2 past MUFC GK extraordinaire David DeGea and snag all 3 points in what could be an entertaining match to watch. The Wolves tied host Leicester City 0-0 in Week 1 in a game which saw VAR rule out a Wolverhampton goal, so expect a little pump in their rumps. The crowd’s worth 1 in my mind here.

I expected the tie, so I did a small play for that, with a smaller play on a Wolf win to cover if they win. So that worked out.

Man U shoulda won. If Pogba lets Rashford take the PK odds are good Man U wins 2-1

My BB is on the Nats and that line is plunging like crazy. I layed -120 and now it is -113 and I simply do not understand it. This look like a super easy Nats' win and for reasons I might not know until the game ends I simply don't get why everyone is playing the Pirates - like the game has already been played. Makes no sense but guess in 2-3 hours I will either see what others saw that I did not or shake my head at how so many people could be so stupid.
