Too many points for a team that will have trouble defending the more athletic backcourt of depaul. Charlie Moore will be handful for anybody McCaffery puts on him. We don't know what Jordan Bohannon will be able to bring yet. Few things making it a 1h bet for me - I don't like the DePaul coach, cple key contributors for depaul are freshman playing their first road game vs a real team, and could see Iowa getting too many garbage 2nd chance pts as game goes on.

Tuesday, November 12, 2019—301 Eastern Michigan -17 -105 (Heritage) reblast

6 pm EST/3 pm PST (Time Change—ESPNU, ESPN News)—MACtion makes betting on NCAAF on a Tuesday in November a possibility, and on Tuesday night, the lowest-scoring team in FBS, Akron (10.2 ppg)—Northwestern is #128 averaging 11.1 ppg—welcomes Eastern Michigan (6-2 SU, 5-3 ATS) to InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field (ProGrass) in Akron in a game which opened up at (EMU minus) 17 everywhere on Sunday and is likely to go up. The series Trends show EMU to be 3-1-1 the L5 meetings and 5-0 ATS the L5 at Akron with the Eagles winning in Ypsilanti last season, 27-7 and getting the butter (EMU -12) in a stone-cold Under. Akron is nasty 2-15 ATS L17 after a SU loss.

Looking at the Zips (0-6 ATS L6 a Home) results, we see one of the most paltry PPG averages in he L50 years with Akron scoring 3-20-24-7-29-3-0-0-6 in 9 straight SU and ATS Losses with the MAC East Division cellar-dwellers truly the King Rat in 2019. Against Bowling Green in a 35-6 setback on Saturday in Week 11, Akron’s leading WR (Stewart) had 26 yards while its leading Rusher (Hayes-Patrick) ran for just 23 yards, a good scamper by some aging QBs in the NFL once in a Blue Moon Odom. In October, Akron scored 3 points in 3 games. So, your Louisiana recipes have surely let me down. God bless The Rolling Stones.

This team L5 SU to end last year, so that’s 14 straight games without a Win with this Week 12 game vs EMU, a Week 13 date at Miami-Ohio and a Week 14 Home finale vs Ohio on tap, so an 0-12 season seems imminent, but can Akron cover ATS at least once? Not by not scoring. I smell Monday morning steam and I shall post this like a Monkey on a Typewriter. No one in 11 years will know what a Typewriter is/was. You have a small and flat and invisible one in your Smartphone and they seem to work for y’all. Well it just goes to show things are not what they seem.

QB Mike Glass III (1,991/16/8) Eastern Michigan (26.2 ppg) are #82 in Scoring and 4-5 SU and 2-6 ATS, but this a strict Akron Fade with a little Art a little Science and a little timing for the pick at 17 to stay on the Key Number. Note the earlier kickoff time. Glass III’s favorite target is Arthur Jackson III—natural brothers by their III-ness—who has 4 TDs and 456 yards Receiving on 26 catches for this team glad to finally be playing a weaker MAC opponent (WMU-BUF-TOL L3).

The Eagles (13-4 ATS L17 after ATS Loss) have been Road Favorites only 7 times in 5 years (4-3 ATS)—twice this year, at CC (W) and at CMU (L)—but the Trends here are meaningless with the 0-9 ATS mark of Kin Rat Akron, the 3 points in October and just 6 in November heading in here under the Tuesday Night Lights in the Rubber Capital of the World. Don’t the nights pass slow? Don't the nights pass slow? The TWC Forecast for Tuesday night in Akron is calling for Snow Showers, a chilly High of 28° with a Low of 13° (Winds W 6 mph) on the coldest day there since last Winter. Frigid MACtion is best bet on and watched inside, warm, on HDTV. I see 27-7 again.. If you are a US veteran, a sincere thank you for your service. You matter.

Tuesday, November 12, 2019—776 Eastern Illinois -19½ -110 (BetOnline)

8 pm EST/5 pm PST (ESPN+)—Added games and Western Athletic Conference member—because nothing seems more Western than Chicago—Chicago State (1-1 SU, 0-1 ATS) heads to Lantz Gymnasium in Charleston, IL to face OVC member Eastern Illinois (0-2 SU, 1-1 ATS) on Tuesday night. This is the first of what will be many CSU Fades, my favorite team to fade in all Sports although finding odds for the Cougars can be extremely hard with only the Westgate Las Vegas and Palms and some others posting lines on these Rats, meaning much driving, screaming, Stress and many missed bets when conventions are in town or when games start earlier.

These lines—up Monday afternoon Offshore (EIU -19½, 145, BetOnline)—are usually put up on gameday to avoid exposure, another thing Offshore has over the brick-and-mortar books, even here in the city known for gambling and the world’s largest sportsbook. Ain’t The Future great? Seems like the same as it ever was with more Hype, more assholes and bigger TVs. I never meant to cause you any sorrow. I never meant to cause you any Pain. I only want to see you laughing in the Purple Rain.

Besides the CSU Fade angle, this spot on the schedule represents the first Road game for the Cougars and is the Home Opener for the George Dixon (12/9) and the Panthers. Chicago State opened with NAIA side Judson College and rolled to a 103-60 win in Chitown in a game they led by 20 at Half as Xavier Johnson poured in 37 points at the Jones Convocation Center and then the Cougars lost to Loyola-Maryland by 13 (98-85) in a game that closed on 12-12½ most places. EIU has opened up playing two solid programs on the Road—national runners-up and #13 Texas Tech (85-60) and Wisconsin (65-52)—and although the Panthers lost both by double-digits, the games should have a bat-weight effect here now facing CSU.

Last season, Chicago State (0-5 ATS L5 Non-Conference) lost its L21 SU and went 11-18 ATS (37.9%) but actually beat EIU (17-13-1 ATS in 2018) in Chicago, 80-72, covering ATS as 4½-point Home Dogs as CSU outscored EIU 48-31 in the deciding 2nd Half. EIU is 1-4 ATS L5 at Home and 1-4 ATS L5 Tuesdays but CSU is 1-5 ATS L6 on the Road and CSU is 5-2 ATS the L7 after giving up 90+ points in its previous game. The Over is 10-1 in the L11 Panthers’ Non-Conference games and 39-14 their L53 at Lantz Gymnasium. So the Science here says bet the Over. Last year’s game in Chicago trickled Over by 6½ (145½) and had an Attendance of 550. Go team go? Maybe they don’t like Cats?

KenPom.com has CSU at #351 (of 353) with EIU sitting at #250, in large part because of the Panthers present Strength of Schedule metric (+22.61) after facing Texas Tech and Wisconsin back-to-back to open the 2019/20 NCAAB Regular Season. Last year, EIU started Jones-Kukobat-Smith-Smith-Wallace vs CSU who started Bowles-Jacob-Bell-Harris-Shaw. Against Wisconsin, EIU’s starters were Skipper—Brown-Johnson-Olson-Smith-Wallace, so the two Smiths and Wallace (pictured below) are back with four G’s and a 6-6, 230-pound Forward (Skipper-Brown) the big man in the paint.

Against Loyola (MD), CSU started Colley-Davis-Johnson-Jones-Long, so CSU may have no starters from last year playing here with EIU Junior Mack Smith possibly being the only starter back from last year for the tip-off. Indianapolis product Mack Smith had 14 points on 4-for-12 shooting from the Field with three 3’s (3-8 on 3’s). The bottom line here is that the Starters and Site will be different here as well as the Situation (EIU first Home game, CSU first Road).

Enough writing. I am backing the college which I first attended (EIU) at the closest gym to my Dorm room (Douglas Hall) and the building (Lantz) where I’ve hooped with two former EIU QB’s (Turk, Christensen) against my favorite Rat in Sports, possibly because of the Spurts (against them), their recent ATS Track Record (13-21 ATS L2 years, 38.2%) and their horrific shooting. This is the lowest level (Red) play and I have the Confidence in it of a Gnat in a heavy windstorm. The First Half (EIU minus 12-ish?) line and the Over (145) may be better plays and we will all have a big chuckle if Chicago State should somehow win again. This game may drive me to The Palms for the first time in months. Maybe not.
