I thought in the Derby that American Pharoah would be held up in traffic starting in post #18. No traffic developed and he ran around the field without losing too much ground running off of the rail.
No post problem today at #1. American Pharoah should run box to wire. Likely to go off around 2/5. I don't like chasing a bet down favorite. I think that with a bunch of long shots and three good horses, it will go down like the Derby with American Pharoah winning followed bY Firing Line then Dortmund. Bet is a trifecta of race #13 Trifecta (1 / 8 / 2)
Mrs. Seer still cannot post. She thinks that Firing Line will be the winner as American Pharoah will not catch him in the shorter race. She won Place and Show in Derby, losing Win to American Pharoah in last furlong. Bet #8 to W/P/S.
