2:30 pm EST/11:30 am PST (NBC Sports Gold)—With hosts Leicester City priced so steep in the 3-Way market (-305, Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook), the suggestion here is to employ the Goal Line and try to lay an even Goal (-1) at Intertops or whomever else books it, with visiting Watford (+800) just firing its manager and looking destined for Relegation from the English Premier League as it sits in 20th place with a 1-5-8 record, 8 points and 9 Goals as we start to see Christmas decorations and hear Christmas music. No es bueno.

Looking at the lifetime series numbers between the Lions and the Hornets, we see that Leicester City is a dead-even 7-4-7 overall (W-D-L) in EPL play (29 GF-28 GA) but 6-2-1 at Home (18 GF-7 GA) at King Power Stadium (Desso GrassMaster) in Leicester City where these two will meet on Wednesday in Matchweek 15. The Lions have W5 straight at Home vs Watford, outscoring the Hornets 10-1 in the process with 3 consecutive Clean Sheets (LC 2-0 WAT, LC 2-0 WAT, LC 3-0 WAT) against them following a 2-1 win in the 2015/16 season—the last time Watford (-19 GD) scored on the Lions (33 GF-9 GA). You should have hired me. My IQ as a bettor is rising daily.

And with GK Kaspar Schmeichel and Leicester City—who allowed 0 Goals in November—having allowed the least Goals in the EPL (9), expecting a Shutout here against the worst and least prolific club in the EPL is no great prediction. Jamie Vardy (-150 Anytime Goalscorer, Bet365) should tally first and Watford GK Ben Foster should be peppered by around 13-18 Leicester City shots. And the Hornets have Injury issues also with RB Kiko Femenía likely out, meaning Dimitri Foulquier may be in the Watford Starting XI (5-3-2) with Welbeck, Cleverley, Prodl, Success, Kabasele, Janmaat, Pereyra and Dawson all also Out although my sources say Winky Duck (Web Strain) may see some time.

Nigerian Kelechi Iheanacho (-120 Anytime Goalscorer, Bet365) had the dramatic game-winner in Leicester City’s 2-1 win on Sunday vs Everton, so Manager Brendan Rodgers may give the 23-year-old F from Imo some more PT or possibly a start, although chasing Liverpool (40 points), LC (10-2-2, 32 points) are actually hotter than the Reds, having W7 straight in EPL play and outscoring opponents 22-3 from Oct 6 until Sunday (Dec 1) with the Lions (W8 in all competitions) last Loss coming almost 2 months ago on Oct 5 at Anfield vs defending European champions and now, the perpetually chased Liverpool.

Ayoze Pérez (+175 Anytime Goalscorer, Bet365), James Maddison (+140 Anytime Goalscorer, Bet365) and Harvey Barnes (+220 Anytime Goalscorer, Bet365) may support Vardy on the attack, and with guys like Demari Gray, Youri Tieleman and Marc Albrighton, Watford could probably use a couple of guys who will be sitting and watching from Leicester City’s bench, often just the closest, quaint seats up in the stands with fans. So very English. I love it. LC owner Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has more letters in his first (8) and as many “a’s” in his last name as Don Ho does in all of his (5) for those Old eog Farts who still don’t bet on the world’s most popular Sport (4+ billion).
