EOG's Best Bet thread for Wednesday, February 25

He bet it during a commercial break. Play resumed and almost immediately that penalty was called.

Disagree with a previous opinion, his in-game plays do hold value. Not pucks but play his hoop/football when I can.

I remember thinking as that 4-minute penalty was called I bet Bob wishes he had that wager back now, LOL.

I could care less about any of this frankly, just replying to How's posts. If it was graded a push I'd quit talking about it.

We move on.

The scores and prices have greatly changed before he or anybody else finishes typing and posting in game bets.

Seeing CB posting a hockey live bet was a real head-shaker. Tonight a late 2H Florida live play appeared amidst a 14-1 run.

I've appreciated CB as a poster. What makes this discussion really odd is that CB always has exposed posters here for posting unavailable lines, bloated records, etc.

Try posting a -111 as -110 or less in the GC thread and CB will produce evidence faster than Perry Mason.

Earlier this year the Panthers were trailing 1-0 in the first period, I logged into my account and placed a live wager on them, I then logged in here to post a live wager play in the BB thread, I typed it up and was ready to send it when the Panthers scored to tie the game at 1, so I erased the post and didn't send it. If Bob makes a live wager play at a certain line or price, after making the play, in the minute or two it takes to then log in here, type up the live play and submit it, the team he bet live might have just scored 4 or 5 points. I'm not saying this was the case tonight, but it's possible by the time his Gator play was posted, instead of them trailing by 3 the game might have been tied or maybe they were up a point and the live line would have been different than the one he posted. I've said it before, I'll say it again, live plays shouldn't be allowed for this reason

Final analysis I'm going with most likely Bob posted after the penalty.

Reductio ad absurdum for live avantage bettors if posting during a commercial break you would wait a few seconds after play resumed to see if advantage or disadvantage was ensuing and of course influencing whether or not to hit ''submit.''

You'd have to have extremely bad luck to enter a bet on Canada and then get a 4-minute penalty seconds later ...

so I'm going with Bob approximated the time and posted after the penalty for the plus 200 pk 'em so play should be a push ...

Is Bob really supposed to apologize to people for getting good lines? The guy is legitimate, and this entire argument is ridiculous.
Getting good lines is one thing, posting that good line in the BB thread when many times the line has changed at the time of his post is another

NCAAB Live Bet #701 Florida ML+100 vs Texas (BM), Score 61-64 2H 7:29 left

This was Bob's live play tonight. Gators trail by 3 with 7:29 to play, with 6:53 to play the game was tied at 64. It only took 36 seconds of game play for the line to shift, at 64-64 there's no way the Gators would be +100. So Bob logs into one of his accounts and makes his live play Gators +100, but in the time it would take to then log in here, click on the BB thread, post "NCAAB Live Bet #701 Florida ML +100 vs Texas (BM), Score 61-64 2H 7:29 left" the score was no longer 61-64, by then the Gators likely has the lead, so even though I do think Bob played the game at +100, I don't think that was the line when his bet got posted, too much time passes between getting down at his book and posting the play here.

Final analysis I'm going with most likely Bob posted after the penalty.

You're wrong on this one, I was here. I know exactly how it went down.

He definitely posted it before the penalty. He's actually pretty fast, I know because I often see them.

The Gator bet for example was legit although some are trying to suggest otherwise.

Good post, some valid points. At the end of the day it's more about what you expect from this BB thread.

Obviously in-game bets are likely to change. For me though a guy posting them is no harm, no foul.

As long as he's posting them right after betting them I see no issue with it. I like to see what he's on, I can play or pass.

I disagree with the guy on topics but I don't think he's a shot taker, the timing is consistent with playing a bet, then posting the play.

No one cares if you get the best of it but that doesn't always happen, take the worst of it and no one cares, LOL.

The only issue here is how they were graded. As stated previously I think he's just playing around on the PUSH stuff.

Could be wrong, just my 2 cents. Either way not going to lose any sleep over fictional units in the BB thread.

That doesn't even make sense. I'm going to wait 4 seconds to see what happens first!

It's like you're trying to defend Bob but indicting him with this nonsense at the same time.

You're suggesting he is taking shots and withholding his posts until he gets an edge, that simply did not happen here.

As I remember, the 4 minute penalty had just been called when I looked at Bookmaker. I thought Canada had a good chance of killing it so the +200 had a decent shot to cash.

FWIW, game started at 5:10AM PT, the logged wager (Canada +200) time at BM was 7:23AM PT.

If this was Birdie, he would have ended up on the EOG Island dinner table. The only poster with the balls to call Canada Bob a cheater is me. Everybody knows it. As McIrish would say. We move on.

The only thing Canada Bob has going for him is I have no idea what he bet and when. We can assume he wouldn't have posted Canada (after) the penalty. Not his style. No value. He would have posted United States. Same with USA kunts. No idea. I just know for sure Bookmaker graded Canada a loss. USA kunts would be a win if to bite the gold medal 🏅 but then Bob would have taken the win so must have been 3 way line.

This cheating fool refuses to post the bet slips so can't confirm. He isn't because he can't!

Here is a Dell Dude challenge for any EOG posters. Try to bet an NHL game regulation only 2 way line at Bookmaker. Winner gets a virtual fucking cookie from the Dude.

Have you ever considered getting off the internet for ten minutes, going out, and getting some pussy?

True dat, Bob. But I think this is your fault. You exposed yourself because you couldn't accept losing 2 units. I know you have me on pretend ignore but I don't have you on pretend ignore. You didn't think I would catch you in the act?

It's a no-brainer, Dude.

Bob thoroughly explained the situation.

Two plays, two pushes.

That's how Bookmaker graded the plays and that's how I will grade the plays.

It doesn't matter and whore cares but for the record. Bookmaker did not grade the 2 plays as 2 pushes because Bookmaker does not offer the type of bet Canada Bob claims he bet. I'm not as smart as Bob but I can connect those 2 dots with 1 line. Canada Bob lost both USA hockey kunts and Canada sausages because both games went to overtime. If he even bet them at Bookmaker, they were graded losses. So either Canada Bob posted completely fake be best bets or he is lying about the grading. JK says good enough for me!

All of you remaining EOG posters remember this when you are playing by the strict EOG rules while JK, Canada Bob and Birdie do whatever they please.
