Burnley (7-3-12) has failed to score a Goal in 10 straight 1st Halves now, and although Leicester City (14-3-5) seems to be in a funk, fading the Clarets (LLLLW) on Saturday seems to be wise—even at Harry Potts Way and Turf Moor (Desso GrassMaster) in Burnley—with the Foxes (45 points) still in 3rd place in the EPL table and chasing a valuable UEFA Champions League spot for the 2020/21 season.
Leicester City has L3 of 5 to completely eliminate any chance of catching 1st-place Liverpool who dismembered the Foxes on Boxing Day, 4-0 and LC now sit 16 points behind the Reds heading into Matchweek 20. Last season at Turf Moor in this match, LC edged Burnley, 2-1 on a header by D Wes Morgan at the 90-minute mark. The Clarets (+316) have scored just 1 Goal in 3 fixtures in January—a Chris Wood goal in a 2-1 Loss to Aston Villa on New Year’s Day—after scoring only 3 in 6 EPL games in December (2-0-4).
With all of this in mind, the 2½u +104 (Pinnacle) Total seems ½ too high,, but Desperation will be served up early Sunday with Leicester City worried about losing its valuable place in the standings and 15th-place Burnley fretting Relegation,, sitting just 2 points (24) above 17th place (22) and potential demotion to the Championship. Vermont (-16½) should beat Binghamton by 23+ on Wednesday and is a hidden gem on the Added-Added NCAA Basketball betting menu. A 1H bet also seems wise and I will be heading toward the pit for that and a new Don Best rotation. Pray for me.
The Foxes beat Burnley 2-1 earlier this season at Home with Jamie Vardy (EPL-leading 17 goals) and Youri Tielemans (3 goals) scoring for the hosts and with James Maddison (6 goals) and GK Kaspar Schmeichel, getting all 3 points and back on track against a struggling Burnley side seems like a good Pick, especially at this current price (-110, Wednesday; LC is -145 at MGM).
