Good question.

With the rise in popularity and media coverage of both women's professional soccer and women's college basketball, let's include both sports in EOG's Grand Challenge.

Provided, of course, that Pinnacle is offering the games to its customers.

MLS was always available to EOG Grand Challenge contestants.

So why not NWSL?

Same for NCAA men's basketball.

So why not the women hoopsters?

Rules:

1. Contestant will post 30 plays in 30 days (one play per day) starting the first of the month.

2. Games must be played by month's end.

3. Major North American team sports only: NFL, CFL, NCAAF, NBA, WNBA, NCAAB, NHL, MLB, MLS and NWSL.

4. Full-game sides and totals -110 or LOWER.

5. Contestants are graded against Pinnacle numbers at the time of post.

6. Must hit 60% or better to be declared a winner of the $1,000 prize.

7. Cannot play a game more than once or both sides of the same game.

That's mental acuity. Mental illness is holding an intense, hidden hate for someone who has done nothing to you. I nailed JK with checkmate. After everything it is clear the Olympics should be allowed for accepted sports but JK can't do it because it wold be giving me the win. Not the bogus challenge but rule change. He will make the change if Birdie plays that month and bets it.

I call him mentally ill and he brags about his crossword puzzle place prowess. Also a fucking idiot. That's mental acuity. The Unibomber was a genius and I would say most people agree he was mentally ill.

Just post that I have a valid point and the Olympics of major North American sports should be included since it's the same professional players. Not doing so deprives the poster of additional games to bet. He can't do it. It would kill him to admit I am right. I wonder if JK's role has been reduced over at EOG. By reduced role I mean less $$$$$.

The main institutions of that site is probably the Daily BB thread and the monthly contest, it's kind of a big deal when the latter is turning into a joke.

Even still John laughs openly about it and encourages the "EOG Good Guy" rules, almost boasting about the obvious bias.

Clearly not a DSI fan but they deserve better. The contestants and the forum deserve better as well.

I ran a few contests at the RX, the thought process is you accommodate everyone when you accommodate no one.

You stick by the rules. If something is going to be changed you adjust after the current month is over, not midstream.

When you start changing the rules according to who is playing there is nothing funny about that......

Which leads me back to what I first posted - is his role being reduced over there?

A NW academic degree is grossly overrated but surely he knows the site is pretty much being branded now as a joke.

The contest is a staple of the site, hard to imagine he can laugh it off when he's still got a deep involvement in the process.

When the biggest institution of the site is openly mocked and critiqued by that many people you know something is wrong.
