Online or a real casino? I played at the same table as Howard The Professor Lederer. He's a super guy and superb player.

I knocked out McIlvoy in a satellite tournament...the guy with the cowboy hat....

He pulled out his Hellmuth rant when he left the table...I just laughed...

Well, not a famous poker player, but I played with that goofball wrestler that used to be in the WWE. He used to be the tattoo artist/piercings character? Ballheaded guy and piercings.

Gin with Stuey Unger; I heard that he was the best Gin player that ever lived.

Speaking of Stuey, I was watching the movie "High Roller" the other day. What a shame. Perhaps the best card player to ever live died alone broke in a dive motel room. Sad.

I played with many in the 80's and 90's almost on a regular basis...........many names you would recognize today.

The DESERT INN was the only pokerroom in town that ran a NO LIMIT tourney on a daily basis back then, and this is where I battled with most of them...........and usually lost. However, it was a great training ground, but to this day I'm still an underachiever in tourney play.

Re: Ever play with a famous poker player?

Couple of the bigger ones i played poker with are Daniel Negraneu and Chris Ferguson....played with a bunch of the no name pros online too.

I dominated Susie Issacs on a regular basis in these............and I don't mean sexually.

She did not like me.............

About a couple of years ago, I played in a private game with Phil Helmuth. For a guy who loves to try and overpower people with his mouth and antics, he really is a conservative player. He has a good sense of humor also.

Hellmuth is definitely a tight player- from what I've seen on TV. And when he does get a hand, he loves to "trap" but it blows up in his face sometimes- and that's when you see his antics.

Re: Ever play with a famous poker player?

I played one hand very stupidly and beat him on the river. He did his thing, and I just started laughing. He asked me what was so funny. I told him that I played the hand intentionally that way just to see him go off in person if I was lucky enough to win. I told him that to me, it was worth the risk just to see a Phil Helmuth rant live and in person. He thought about it for a second, and just started to laugh. We hit it off pretty well after that.

He was. You played with God.

Are you talking about Albert?:

To answer the question:
I haven't been fortunate enough to play with any pros or famous people yet. I have played with a few relatives of famous people. Dan Harrington's aunt (also relative of Padraig Harrington [golf pro]) lives in Palm Beach, and I played with her for a bit. Online, I played with a son of a retired NFL pro (no names).

I knocked Men Nguyen and Young Pham out of the same tournament once at a final table. Susie Isaacs and Greg Ellerby were also at that final table.

Susie Isaacs is known as the first woman of poker. She was the only woman to ever make the final table at the Main Event

Bullshit. Barbara Enright is the only woman to make the final table in the Main Event and it was in 1995.

Last Woman Standing Cup at the 2009 WSOP Main Event ...
In fact, since its inception in 1970, the World Series of Poker Main Event has had few if any women ... Barbara Enright, a woman, made the final table in 1995 to finish fifth

Re: Ever play with a famous poker player?

Well Susie finished 10th place and was the first one to ever make the final 10. Back then the final table was considered the final 10, not final 9 like it is today. I meant to say that she was the first

Re: Ever play with a famous poker player?

My bad, I forgot about Barbara Enright. Susie did finish 10th, but that was in 1998 I think.

Barbara actually has a WSOP bracelet in a $2500 event back in the 1990's. I think that she has more than 1, but am not sure about that

Bullshit again.... get something fucking right. She finished 10th in the 1998 Main Event.... Enright was 5th in 1995.... 0 for 2. Give it up

Susie Isaacs recent tournament placings
