Compared to the US they did. Point me to a Country that willfully disbanded their Pandemic response Unit 2 years ago. With our tech, and our wealth, we should have been on the list of the countries that handled it relatively well. THe disease origin is on China, not each individual country's response to it. Why isn't the US on the list for Countries that handled it relatively OK? Who does that fall on? Disolving the pandemic response team is like a team that is scheduled to play Mahomes benching their entire secondary before the game, getting destroyed, and then the HC not taking blame for benching the secondary.
