People over analyze Namath's stats compared to other HOF but he brought the forward pass to professional football. For 2-3
years nobody could touch him. And naturally he single handily brought the leagues together. A great accomplishment right up
there with banging Raquel Welch.

even the first game the media called it the super bowl.. it was all over the NY Daily news. the Old NFL did not call it that... they were sort of worried till it really caught on.
