Great promotion, I watched it on Channel 44 and own the documentary.

Supposedly more than 100,000 people tried to get into Comiskey Park for the promotion. During the rioting Harry Cary was singing "Take Me out to the Ballgame" as he unsuccessfully pleaded with fans to return to their seats so they could play the second game.

Yeah I heard about that. After all these years, nobody tied racism to the event. I guess you can tie racism to just about anything. Of course it doesn't mean it has any credibility.
