Trying to think of a good NBA comparison for Garza.

Big Ten college hoop analyst Robbie Hummel mentioned former Purdue center Brad Miller who played 16 seasons in the NBA.

Hmmm...

WHO CARES

FOLLOW the NHL JK,..................10x better than this CBB crap

Too much puck luck for me.

Hard to relate to the large legion of foreign players.

And I never played the game so I'll be catching up on the strategy.

Other than that, it looks like an exciting game and those who like it seem to love it.

To each his own.

Frank Kaminsky. Nice college game with size and able to shoot it from deep. Grabbed his cup of coffee. Still hanging on as a fringe player.

Kaminsky and Garza with much different body types, however.

Garza's a tank compared to the much slimmer Kaminsky.

I went to school with Frank Kaminsky's mother.

She was 6-1 and Dad was 6-7 or thereabouts.

Late career Demarcus Cousins perhaps, after he lost his athleticism and just became an outside shooter and defensive rebounder. Amazing how the Rockets just letting him go, he was putting up near double doubles in his last handful of games. Boogie must have a contender lined up who wants him and he talked his way out.

When some NBA guys experience slippage in their game, they disappear quickly.

Interesting how the refs pick up on the decline.

If you don't get the benefit of the whistle as an aging veteran in the NBA, you're in trouble.

Garza won't see one minute in an NBA Game. He is an easy 5 seconds off the shot clock in the pro game. Pace can't be more than 85.

Several Wooden Award winners were disappointments in the NBA game.

Ed O'Bannon, Jimmer Fredette and Frank Mason III immediately come to mind.

Ed O'Bannon, haha the Nets drafted him number 9 in 95 I think.

Two rebuilt knees on a number 9.

Sat on the bench cried for his Mom for 2 seasons and quit.

Different times. These days a "kid" who is 21 is seen as a serious liability in the NBA draft. If you ain't 19 then your chances of getting picked in the lottery are greatly reduced. TTo win an award you need a few years of production and hype, so most draftable players aren't going to stick around long enough for that.

The William Hill outlet at Prairie Meadows looks good, FISH.

BEAUTIFUL FACILITY.........so-so OUT

DraftKings, FanDual, MgM better sportsbooks

As far as Iowa/Garza...........will be surprised if they make it to the great eight, even the sweet sixteen may be a stretch, although this is his best squad in his career of 20 some odd years, coach FRAN has never taken a team to the sweet sixteen, EVER.

It's strange Toussaint no longer part of their rotation. I get it he's not that good/can't shoot, but gives them a quick on-ball defender who can also set up guys on other end.
It's going to be funny when the ncaa puts them up vs St John's in first round.

One problem with Luke Garza.

At age 22, he is who he is.

Not a lot of upside.

Unlike Jalen Suggs, the 19-year-old freshman at Gonzaga University.

Haha.

Kevin McHale is a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall-of-Famer.

Luke Garza will be inducted in the University of Iowa Athletics Hall-of-Fame, next to FISHHEAD's plaque.

Miss venues such as this. St. John’s Arena was a fantastic place to see an OSU game. State high school semis and finals as well. The place was loud and even in the upper deck you felt like you were in the action. Now? The Schott. Forget about it. Snore fest.
