Great to see the Johnnies Bring that Swagger Back to the Garden in College

Good to see NY City have their city school bring that swagger back to that arena. It is great watching this team in this building when they're good.

I knew Lavin was a GREAT hire, but I didn't know he'd turn 'em around this year - their recruiting class next year is unreal. Add in the fact that he realized he was a shitty game coach so he went and got a legend to do that, Keady and St. Johns is going to be top 10 good.

It's only halftime, but it's great to see the building full. Also nice of the announcers to throw a bone to Norm Roberts. He couldn't get the recruits to come to SJU, and couldn't win consistently at this level, but he was an honest man and cleaned up the cesspool that Mike Jarvis created.

Agree with you, and it's always to be the guy that comes in during trouble, but it is kind of unexplainable that you can't recruit in NY City. At least St. Johns has turned it around - Depaul is headed no where fast, and they have no excuse what so ever.

Been way too long since NY has had it's power schools do anything in both college foots and baskets. This has been a great year though with Cuse reaching a bowl game and winning, and St Johnnies at least competitive again, and who knows, with a nice end to the year could be a tourney bound team with a win like this on their record.
