Great tweet by Alan Boston

AB sounds like he's still upset about his parents divorcing. Losing money on a home he had built in Vegas and later had to sell at a loss, also is mentioned too often.

Walking away from Billy's 12k per game arrangement because he wasn't prepared wasn't something most people would do.

He and Rail rhyme a lot regarding the mid-majors being hosed.

AB now talking about his relationship with Billy Walters.

Alan mentions his late buddy, Oscar.

Alan met Billy at the Sterling Brunch at Bally's.

He's all over the place.

Zero focus.

The password is neurotic.

I just tapped out.

Alan "Boston" Dvorkis is a professional sports bettor and poker player. He was a red pro at Full Tilt Poker. Boston is a specialist at Seven-card stud.[1]

Boston entered his first World Series of Poker event in 1989 and finished 4th in the $1,500 Seven-card stud event. Over the years he had many cashes, mostly in seven card stud. Boston's best finish was 2nd in the 1994, $2500 7 stud event. Not known for no limit, he did play on Poker After Dark in 2007.

Boston is best known however as a college basketball handicapper.[1] He was featured in the 2001 book The Odds:One Season, Three Gamblers and The Death of Their Las Vegas. He was also featured in the 2016 documentary, The Best Of It. Boston has appeared on radio in Las Vegas and on gambling/poker podcasts.

Yes, Bob Hurley Sr.

I forgot about him.

I always chuckle about Alan's bias involving Penn.

Alan loved Fran Dunphy.

Joe Scott, too.

Though Scott was a Princeton guy.

Alan spoke highly of Ivy League basketball.

Always talked about how pure it was.

Then, he would bet five dimes on a game while snorting coke during pregame introductions.

So much for purity.

Yes.

Add John Chaney, Rick Majerus and Stew Morrill to Boston's list of favorite coaches.
Great, none of them make him a dime this week.

You're a better man than me listening to AB. Wayyyy too much all over the board, too hard to find a nugget of info that actually helps you.

Downgrade Boston's Power Rating another 3 points; if that is even possible.

In defense of Boston....he would never say Purdue's Robbie Hummel is worth 7 points. Good times Fezz.

No more VMI conference unders, now what?

And China had over 80k cases before any other country had 1k I believe. Something isn't adding up and like dell is saying, why no talk about that in the media? No one curious about what china's secret is?

I tried to do some digging about Viet Nam.

Airlines were shut down pretty early and still not opened in many cases.

The nations borders were shut down altogether.

Large cities like DaNang were quarantined and isolated.

When they tested / they tested whole houses with one sample and came back if positive to individually test. Took 20,000 tests to do 100,000 people.

In mid-March face masks became mandatory for all people who were outdoors.
Unlike in other parts of the world, there was little resistance to mask-wearing.
"Vietnam is very used to infectious diseases … it's had many outbreaks of infectious diseases

A strict nationwide lockdown was enforced from April 1 to 22.
"Each citizen is a soldier, each house, hamlet, residential area is a fortress in the fight against the pandemic," Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said.
Hundreds of thousands of people, even those with suspected cases of COVID-19, were forced into quarantine at hospitals, state-run facilities and at home.

I guess I was curious and not sure of the accuracy at all. About the only thing I saw work in America was the NBA bubble.

Final reason I read for their success was:

"From an early stage, communications about the virus and the strategy were transparent."

So, maybe these stats from Viet Nam and China are true?

Boston likes to repeat himself and gives the same presentation every time it seems. Nonetheless, he is one of the most intelligent and best interviews ever because he is honest and unpredictable. As for the STUPID 19, he is 100 percent correct. Those of you that can't see the scam played on you, are lacking in critical thinking skills. Read more medical journals. Its equivalent to a seasonal flu, according to Dr. Evil.

Alan Boston and Rail are a lot alike. Both would take Laimbeer over Jabbar because Laimbeer looks like he tries harder and can’t judge natural talent. Natural talent that is coachable always wins out - that’s why he hates Coach K and Roy Williams. . .

Its Dvorkis that is the fraud.

My favorite tournament story is the Stardust Line radio show, going back to 2003, hosted by JK with Dvorkis and Dave Cokin. Discussion of the possibilities for Coach Boeheim's Syracuse Orange featuring Carmelo Anthony, Hakim Warrick and guard Gerry McNamara . Cokin thought they might go far, Dvorkis, displaying all his drug-induced bias in full glory, comes over the top saying "they can't play a lick". Says he'll buy Cokin a free lunch every week for life if Syracuse does well (or wins it all, I can't remember).

Remind me, who was right? ;)

What do we have to do to get JK back on the air???

Fezzik - when you were on Mason/Ireland on Tuesday - the question John asked you about line value and playing stale lines and getting the best line and how that helped you go B2B at the Hilton.........that was my question. You gave the answer I expected but one I felt people needed to hear.

Preston is the only one on Daily Wager whose plays I would consider blindly playing. Fortenbaugh and Anita Marks are idiots - best fade material out there. Anita is freaking clueless

Joe Fortenbaugh is connected, hard working, and very intelligent..........

I have nothing but positive stuff to say about Joe.........

coaches matter less and less, in game, especially with a 30 second clock. coaches can create cultures but in game less than ever

Will he leadoff with:

A) I suck worse than Coach K

B) I should contract cancer for those lousy selections

or C) Glad I wasn't betting my money on those plays.

D. He can take pride knowing he beat the closing line with the dud Tennessee side.

This is the twitter summary.

Well, just returned from food shopping. Obviously it is a bad day for Tenn, but Y Barnes is not pressing this team is beyond me. Instead, he continues to do what got him 18 down. Guess, I should have noticed the coaches.
