Friday 12/30 "Balance"

TURF ONLY

Race 5 #5 Tesoro De Amor (12-1 ML) off board @19-1

Race 10 #1 Hugo Light (15-1 ML) 3rd @25-1
Race 10 #4 Winner Jak (20-1 ML) 7th @58-1

Some big ML prices. Little concerned about poss regression on 10/4 but the price will override/outweigh the concern. Right now it looks like a Win Box on both horses :btj: (betting both horses to win)

Hugo ran well but not well enough

Race 10 #10 Master Dunker (20-1 ML) just misses by smallest margin. Other day one just like it won at 40-1. This guy should outrun his odds

Doesn't matter if a horse outruns his odds during a race, the final results is what matters. Keep an eye on him you might make money in a few weeks down the road on that horse. But I doubt it. Hey Luca when was the last time you gave out a winner? Last year:lolxmas. This thread looks like a Whos Who thread for losers.

If you read the 1st post, I consider 1st or 2nd to be success especially at a price. There have been some good exactas here that I did have.

If you pick horses that outrun their odds consistently, you will win at the end of the year despite the results of one single event you retarded loser. Everyone here knows that you are a loser by the way you have handled yourself in the last few months. Your true colors and the warped way you think has been documented.

Gulfstream - Race 8

#6 Pikestar (12/1 ml)

Very interesting entrant for Michelle Nihei here. First-time starter comes into this two-turn grass race fresh off the heels of a heads-up turf drill with Regalo Mia, who just came out of that drill to win a similar two-turn grass race on Friday (with today's rider Castanon aboard) despite breaking from the 12-hole in a race that started right on the turn. And prior to that, Pikestar had worked heads-up on two occasions (both on grass, again) with Woodford Belle, who then came out of those drills to win an allowance race on grass last Monday. Looks extremely live here at a big price.

Pikerstar really got handicapped by the extremely slow start at the break. Hard to keep an eye on him down the backstretch because he was completely off the screen, but it looked like he turned into the stretch with tons of run and just had nowhere to go due to some serious traffic problems. I defenitely retain interest in this horse for next time, and he should be a huge price again (he went off @ 33/1 this time) after today's beaten margin.

No Balance today

Will give out one bomb

Race 3 #7 Cunaguaro - Faltered a couple of times at 86-1 and 99-1. His last he chased on a day where all the dirt winners were far back early. Cutting back and weak field today. 2 have been away 90+ and another one 180+ days. Worth throwing small money away...

Re: Gulfstream tracking thread

Gulfsteam - Race 8

#12 Dan and Sheila (4/1 ml)

First-time starter for Pletcher worked heads-up with then-unraced barnmate Discreet Dancer back on Nov. 9, and as you know, Discreet Dancer emerged from that drill to set a track record @ Gulfstream a couple of weeks ago. Obviously, that bodes extremely well for this one's chances. A little extra ground for this one today going one mile, but it's a one-turn mile so that definitely helps. Also, the long run into the turn helps to mitigate the extremely wide post-draw. This guy figures to have some speed, so he should be able to drop over into a good spot by the time they get to the turn. Expecting a good effort.
Just a heads-up regarding Dan and Sheila in the Gotham today, his most recent drill came heads-up with Gemologist, an unbeaten (3-for-3) colt who was last seen winning the Kentucky Jockey Club @ Churchill. Have to like that.

Obviously Hansen wil take some beating here, but just wanted to pass along the info in case you guys are looking at the race...

I try to cash ahead of the curve. 18 days after I gave him out here as a 50-1 bomb, he ran solid 2nd at 13-1....And today he won @$7 off the double class drop, lol
