Holy Gas Prices, Batman!

My sister called to forewarn me that gas prices are going to be raised to $2.70 per litre (yes, per LITRE) at midnight tonight. So I just went out to fill my tank up ... INSANE lineups!! Took me an hour just to get to the pump.

Already at $3.30 a litre north of Toronto ... that's $11.78 per gallon!!!

Nuts.

funny how none of this nonsense is reflected on http://www.torontogasprices.com/which indicates current pricing in Toronto of .975 per "litre" or roughly $3.13 US per gallon
