How to handle college football

IF you're 18 or older and don't need a note from parent, play if you want to. If not, sit out. Don't need alphabet soup committees doing circle jerks to decide. These rosters are 100 deep. If 30 sit out, BFD.

The 2020 pandemic could produce year-round football.

The Power 5 conferences play in the fall and the Group of Five teams play in the spring.

Who needs 80 games on Saturdays in the fall when you can deal 40 games every Saturday for 9+ months?

If the rumors prove true, it looks like we are headed, possibly, to 80+ games in the spring. It looks like the only holdout would be the SEC and they'll "cave" if they can't get at least one of the two fence sitters, the Big 12 or ACC, to stay with them and play in the fall.

It looks more like 80+ games per week in the spring followed by 80+ games per week in the fall with a two month break in June and July before practice begins again in August.

Orthopedic surgeons think that would be too much football too soon leading to more injuries in the fall than usual. Their thinking is that the not long enough break between seasons would not provide adequate time for sufficient recovery of the body from the previous season's toll on the body.

i think could be acc and sec only. never thought i would like sec better than p12 but im headed that way

Spring football will be a mess, lots of players won't be in shape and the top draft prospects will probably sit it out. If they don't play in fall they might as well just wait a year.
