It's Time to Stop Living in Fear

[/SIZE] Dear Conservatives, Republicans and Independents Looking for Reform,
Why are my opponents content to the manage the decline of our state?
The answer lies in the closing statement I made at yesterday?s Republican gubernatorial debate sponsored by the Union League Club of Chicago.

We have been a party paralyzed by fear. Longtime Republican officeholders make the wrong policy choices out of a fear that they will lose their position if they challenge the established political order. Our party leaders talk about ushering in a new generation of leadership but do not act on their rhetoric out of a fear that new leaders will emerge whom they cannot control. And because of the fear that cripples our party, our natural constituents fear for their economic future in this state.
I am not afraid.
Our strength lies in the ideas we can advance to expand economic and educational opportunities for people who play by the rules in Illinois and have been gamed by their state government -- but only if we select the right nominee to carry those ideas onto the political battlefield against the Chicago Democrats.
Nothing is inevitable. The Chicago Democrats? stranglehold on power was not foretold in Biblical prophecies. Their public offices are not their divine birthright.
If you believe I have the right message; if you support the vision I have offered on those issues which directly impact your quality of life; and if you are ready for policy revolution in Springfield, then I need you to conquer your fear and help me put the fear into the Chicago Democrats for a change.

If he wins, it will increase the likelihood of bringing down the administration of Barack Obama.

If you are willing to help bring down the administration of Barack Obama, then the Munchkin Man is willing to forget about any past differences that you and the Munchkin Man have had in the past.

Bringing down the administration of Barack Obama is too important a goal to let other differences of opinion get in the way.

I have always voted GOP until 2004.What you think as me defending Obama is not the case at all. I am pointing out that this is the same things that have been going on for years.When I rip on right wingers it is the crazy 20% crowd and the liberals also have this same group.These are the people that believe everything their ''handlers''feed them .Not everything is black and white. Dan Brady is also running and he lives very close to home but I am not sold on him.
