JIMMYMAC VS. ODDSMAKER DISPUTE: THE VERDICT

I think the shrink is right.

Based on the situation, ( Party that he needs to get $8400 from a bous from a lousy book) the player should have been very careful about crossing t's and dotting i's and not giving a hint of impropiety. Not a good move to not call first and I doubt the player had no idea and is clean as snow about trying to get another $500 bonus.

I also think that after reading their lengthy bonus and account rules posted, NO ONE should play there. NO ONE. Its in their rules plain as day all the reasons they have where they and they alone can decide to void your winnings and close your account. Basically, they can do so at will, by their rules.

Re: JIMMYMAC VS. ODDSMAKER DISPUTE: THE VERDICT

this verdict is sickening. oddsmaker is a known scam book, if it wasnt for this they would have made up an excuse for something else.

i have them on tape saying he wasnt getting paid because he was disrespectful. they have no security at their book, just offering up his username they give his full name and balance down to the penny out to me.

when the clerk yelled repeatedly that HE WAS RUDE, AND DISRESPECTFUL. THAT IS WHY WE WILL NOT PAY HIM.

thats how you know this is a D- rated book, rightfully downgraded to F.

this case was rock solid...PAY THE PLAYER.

i know for a fact shrink and mofo do not sleep well about this one..you can say the opposite but I know you do not. :+whipping

oddsmaker :hangt

Mofome, serious question: How many scams, stiff jobs, stealing all the money out of player accounts does Oddsmaker.com have to pull before you side with the player?

Does your reputation mean so little to you?

Re: JIMMYMAC VS. ODDSMAKER DISPUTE: THE VERDICT

Im standing beside the Shrink and Mofome. They are 2 stand up guys.

I was rooting for Jimmymac to get paid, but The Shrink is a pioneer in this industry and has forgetten more about this industry than most will ever know. 12io4j2w90

A real pathetic ruling. Player only played in his account and is confiscated after the fact. This may tell us how the poor economy is making this book so desparate to resort to stealing just 8k and risking their reputation. Sad, sad state of affairs. I would never send a dollar to this book and I'll make sure anyone I know does not. I also think the owner of this site appears to have no credibility or is just plain dumb for that ruling.

Maybe its a publicity stunt where the owner comes in and saves all - I just trying to figure out why he would do that but thats my two cents. Now back to the real world...

I did not. Hopefully you are not trying to catch me in a lie myself, that will prove to be a difficult catch.

you know what they say about people who make statements like this?

what difference does it make what was said on tape?

his intentions?

everyone's intent is to take as much money from the sportsbook as they will let us. within the rules for most of us.

the rules?

I don't see anything stating that passing on an unsolicited email is grounds for balance confiscation. If those were the actual rules then no sane person would play there as that is a license to steal.

Not the first time oddsmaker has been caught with their hand in the cookie jar,
If it looks like a duck walks like a duck, quacks like a duck its a duck.

Player got screwed hopefully they do the right thing and pay him

My reputation, as far as with players, is without flaw. You have no idea how much time and effort Ken and I are putting in to this.

Re: JIMMYMAC VS. ODDSMAKER DISPUTE: THE VERDICT

I'll submit that dropping your son off in the hood with him looking "to sell some rocks", a handgun, and a "to hell with my life"-attitude is actually good parenting.

I would suggest doing rather soon. I hate seeing you and Mo looking like this. He followed the rules of the below email to the T. He did nothing wrong, he emailed to get his bonus, rolled the bonus over 5x, and waited 30 days for to ask for a withdraw. Remember, he was never a player at this book and how would they expect him to know all their other bonus rules which you ruled against him on?

One last question, can ANYONE show me where in writing these other bonus rules are located and why the book did not mention them in the email?:doh1

Since you’re obviously reluctant to try us out, and we’re convinced you’ll be happy with us once you do, simply open an account at www.oddsmaker.com (no credit card required) and email us your username and we’ll add $500.00 to your account so you can try our site risk free!

If after that you feel comfortable enough to make a deposit with us, we will then give you a 100% Real Money Match Bonus on your first deposit up to $1000.00.
Take us up on the offer………...you’ve got nothing to lose!
Here again are some of our VIP benefits:
•Exclusive VIP Number and Personal VIP Host
•VIP Trips to Las Vegas and the Caribbean

You don't get an email to a book and think that all of their house rules are in the email. That is ridiculous. Please, also, don't feel badly for anyone. We're doing just fine and busting our asses to see what we can get done. If people had any idea...

No, you don't usually get all the rules. There is usually small print at the bottom that leads you to the URL on their site you could read all the rules. This one lays out a few stipulations, and given they seem to give these VIP players special treatment, I believe a reasonable person could believe the rules in the email was what he was expected to follow, not some other rules that I still have seen in writing anywhere, can you post them please?

Thanks Mo

yes...if Oddsmaker.com stops paying me. Then I will immediately side with the player and expose Oddsmaker.com as a crooked sportsbook.

whether oddsmaker is right or wrong, one thing is abundantly clear: they've lost way more than $8.5k in future business as a result, which makes this "stand" a terrible decision on their part.

Re: JIMMYMAC VS. ODDSMAKER DISPUTE: THE VERDICT

No, it really has been a mess.

These things tend to go much better when handled behind the scenes. Once it hits the forums things usually go poorly for the player.

Why players get involved with bonues in the first place is beyond me... The BEST bonus is low juice.
