Juan Soto regrets?

If you ber under on his seadon hifting totals, you're lokking golden through 31 games.

.241 3 12

On the flip side, Aaron Judge us hitting .427 10 32. Most are confident Soto sill tyrn things around, but for the Yankees, lineup protectikn for Judge doesn't seem to be am issue.

Yet the Mets, thanks to some incredible pitching and surges from Lindor, Nimmo, Vientos, and Alonso own the bsst record in baseball at 21-10. Is Juan pressing? Does he regret leaving the Yankees? Do we remember Soto's lack of body language this season in the dugout? Perhaps he's hiding an injury. Either way, almost one fifth of the seadon in, something's up.

In the 2024-25 MLB season thread, one of my props was Soto under 33 1/2 home runs. I listed the reasons; for a LHH, going from short porch Yankee Stadium to Citi Field a big negative; batting in front of Aaron Judge last year meant they wouldn’t pitch around him, and last, I like to bet against guys who just sign monster contracts.

There’s still 5 months left so my bet is no guaranteed win, but it’s off to a good start.

Let's not overreact Jimmy, water finds its level, can't make any judgement after one month, he hit two bombs today, I have a feeling by season's end his numbers will be similar to his career numbers, he's just too good

No need to call it an overreaction kane, I'd thought by now you would understand that this is an opinionly open and speculative post. Yes I know he hit 2 HR today but given we are over a month into the season and all of the money he signed for, even you couldn't disagree his progress or lack thereof bears watching.
