Corso is 85.

He's the Dick Vitale (age 81) of college football.

One significant difference: Corso was a high-level college athlete where he once served as a starting quarterback for the South squad in the 1956 Blue-Gray game.

TYVM Morgan William!!!
Not sure he would have come back this season if he had to travel. Allowing him to stay home means travel and fatigue is not (as big of) an issue. If things are back to normal next season it won't shock me if he steps aside. He can still do his headgear thing but not much else.

The question then is..............who replaces him?

If Steve Spurrier wanted to do it he would be a solid choice

I saw him a couple of years ago. He was headed to the men's room at warp speed. The sadness of being an old man.

He seems to be talking better again despite getting older, so God Bless him.

Not trying to damper since he talks about half the time his opinions SU the same time ATS, but isn't his unbeaten record SU? Still to hit all 9 headgears thus far? Still 9-0 is remarkable.
