I have never heard of either of these books until just recently.

They are both solid?

What kind of bonuses are they offering new customers with a $5,000 post up?

The only reason I even consider these these two is becuase they are advertisers for Shrink & General and for whatever reason I have great respect for these two.

I posted up with Heritage yesterday and got a 30% bonus 7x. I refered EOG, Shrink. There is a thread below, but you have to ask for Dennis when you call and tell them EOG sent you to get the 30%. Seems like their limits are a dime on every game over the internet, and I don't know about call in.

Of all the books on this site, I would trust as much or more money with Luke and Legendz than any other group.

As with most books on this site, they will limit you if you are chasing steam and they make it known they do not want professional action...but as far as honesty and integrity, I'll take Luke over anyone in the industry (actually, a tie with his friend Spiro).

Everything I have experienced with Pinnacle has been 1st class. I haven't dealt with the head guy directly so I can't speak from personal experience there. But I don't think you will get many arguments on that comment. I know I'll take your word for it.

I know it sounds nuts to send that kind of money off shore. I actually sent more than that amount last fall but I only spread the risk around to three books. I was paid by all three after I hit them pretty hard. If I hadn't remodelled my entire house with the winnings last winter I would agree with your post. By the time I withdrew my funds I had close to $100K with BoDog, Wagermall & Guardian. But $5K for the average sportsbook is nothing. At least not the good ones. And I like to think that the books I have posted with this season are all solid.

I play for fun but I like to win. There is nothing better in life, for me, than having a couple grand on a TV college football game. I love it.

If I lose, I lose. I can handle losing the pick but I can't handle getting stiffed. That's why I place so much confidence in Shrink's recommendation. He & General probably know this industry better than anyone else on the planet.

The reason I have too much with them right now is because they are the only book that will hold the lines for Phil Steele's Late Phone Selections and I am playing Phil's pre-season this year. Of course the initial $10K deposit only lasted two weeks with Phil's guidance.

I am not saying this automatically makes them solid, but BOS, who ownes Millennium, is publicly traded in London. That is a far cry from the picture you paint of a guy with a phone line and a website scamming people for post up money and then changing the name of the book every fall.

Again, of the books I have chosen, I know the least about Legendz and Heritage but I have voucher from Shrink on both of them. I am comfortable with that. As for the others, I have no worries at all with less than $10K. I would be comfortable with just about any dollar amount at BOS because I have read some of the financials and I know they were sitting on over $30m in cash right after the IPO if memory serves correctly. They paid me close to $40K last fall and I have no doubts as to their staying power.

Financials mean nothing. If they have so much money, why don't they pay the player they owe $500,000 to?

Having money doesn't mean they are reputable. If they don't have any integrity, they will stiff with our without the ability to pay.

All I know is, they owed me more than I should have ever allowed last fall and they paid me. Until they stiff me, they are an A+ book as far as I am concerned.

Put yourself in my shoes. If a sportbook had paid you nearly $40K in the past, and paid promptly without bickering over bonuses etc, would you scratch them off your list of outs?

Shouldn't my own first-hand experience count for something?

In my opinion, 1 stiff job erases every payout a book ever makes. They have proven they will stiff and that is enough for me to stay away. There are plenty of reputable outs that have NEVER stiffed a single player and NEVER would. That can't be said about BOS.

I am a pretty large player as well and there is no way I would ever trust my money with a book that has already stiffed someone regardless of how they have treated me. The book you are playing with has an outstanding debt of $500,000. If they have done it once, they can easily do it again.

It is hard to believe a player can have a decent amount of money offshore and have MULTIPLE OUTS and not have Pinnacle...yet play at BOS? :+clueless

I realize the guy has dozens of labels for different plays so he will always have something to brag about.

That said, I think I am a believer in his Preseason Late Phones even though he's cost me about $10K this season. His record in preseason is close to 60% ATS over 20+ years. Of course there will be losers and long losing stretches. That is unavoidable. But in his defense this preseason, which is 5-9, at least three of those losing plays had heavy statistical domination by the losing team. Last night's Minny game was a good example.

Totally concur with drunk and Chuck. Phil would give you a 7 point fave in the preseason have you bet at Betmill and win either way. Bet mill=BOS, that is not a good thing. The SHRINK has assembled a good set of advertisers when the worst you can say is they don't like winners.
