LV Hotel question

The wife is heading to Vegas in Oct on business. She has never been there and she is not much of a gambler. I would like to surprise her and book her hotel for her. Since it is going to be in Oct I dont think the pool matters and like I said she is not a gambler. Any ideas on a hotel. Would appreciate any imput.

Caesar's Palace or the MGM Grand. Lot's of shops - stores for her to look at. From Caesar's she will probably go to the Bellagio and look at their stuff.
