Melatonin in natural form is good. It's about the supplements.

The study said nothing at all about meletonin, just that the need to take it indicates serious, long lasting sleeping issues. I agree with that, if you dont get enough sleep and prob have sleep apnea that wakes you up 100 times/night, it's not good for your heart.

it's like saying people who take diabetes drugs every day have a lot of problems, the drugs have nothing to do with it.

drugs are approved ...vitamins are not

drugs probably do some damage also long term on heart and other organs

best not to take anything...unless it gives you quality of life..... nobody living 200 years
 
You don't need a melatonin supplement. Just sunshine. Sunshine (near infrared radiation) produces melatonin in our mitochondria (in all cells except red blood cells). This melatonin is crucial to wellness. Absolutely nothing more important than getting sunshine and exercise every day.
