They can afford to take it slow, they'll win their division easily, no need to rush things, by the time we reach September I don't expect him to be on an innings limit or pitch count

cardinals and brewers continue to win.

cubs don't have great starting pitching... armstrong could be the best in MLB in center ...but he doesn't get on base and the league has figured him out at the plate

It's NY, so nothing would surprise me, but I think his job is safe. If they fire him, to me that looks like a panic move, at some point they'll snap out of it. I have their win total Under and had pretty much written it off as a loss, but now things are different

That's strange, I'll have to do more research, one thing is clear, the mets poor performance is obviously due to some spell that they have brought on themselves. The chances it's just a baseball slump are infinitesimal.

Got it on a called third strike on the corner, a pretty cool moment. Unfortunately for the Dodgers, on the previous pitch Max Muncy hurt his knee tagging a guy trying to steal third, it didn't look good, he could barely put any pressure on it and needed help getting off the field

I think a niece I rarely see might be a lesbo, that's all I know for sure, I know quite a few fags either from work or hanging around at bars, several are facebook friends.

The bottom line is it's none of my business what people do behind closed door, but I dont want to hear about it, talk about it, or celebrate it.

This is in reference to the mets, who had some kind of pride celebration and promptly went into a total tailspin. Detractors said that they had "angered God" of put some kind of hex on team.

Obviously no one knows if it's related but to be on the safe side it's probably best to not "hang gay shit from the rafters".

The battle for the worst. Cannon has a pitch mix that could be explosive (dad joke/pun). This could be real bad. We know how bad Colorado has been. I was thinking they've been better lately but actually 2-8 in their L10. But those games were vs the Dodgers, Milwaukee and Houston; plus 1 vs the White Sox. I believe they are motivated to win this series and ulitmately want to avoid the worst team ever possible scenario.

You didn't need to even say he's on the Red Sox to know it's Walker Buehler, sad that injuries may have ruined a once promising career. You never know when a pitcher gets hurt how he'll bounce back, some guys come back and are the same as before, other guys take a year to get right, and others are never the same. Sandy Alcantara was a top three pitcher in baseball, needs TJ, and this year has been so bad it's hard to watch him out there, you can only hope next year things change for him and Buehler, but you never know

They've kinda figured him out. He's a notorious low ball hitter. He doesn't get anything below the waist anymore.

I've noticed he gets called out on strikes a lot now on pitches waist high outside corner. He waits for his pitch that never comes.

Andrew Abbott gets snubbed from the AS roster, but Clayton Kershaw gets in. I guess Kershaw's 3.43 ERA and 1.254 WHIP in 9 starts was more impressive than Abbott's 2.15 ERA and 1.088 WHIP in 15 starts. Abbott also has better numbers than Matthew Boyd, Mackenzie Gore, and Freddy Peralta. Chris Sale made the team but is out injured, hopefully they do the right thing and include Abbott, but I'm not holding my breath
