MLB 2025

Hitter vs pitcher:

Christian Walker 12 for 38 (.316 BA .556 SP) with 3 doubles and 2 homers vs Freeman going into today. What did Walker do? 2 HRs.

Philly/Atlanta. Several Braves murder Nola, and with big sample sizes:

Albies 20 for 68 with 6 extra base hits
Ozuna 66 ABs w 4 home runs
Acuna 19 for 55 with 10 extra base hits, including 4 home runs
Harris 3 home runs in 30 ABs

The gambling scandal he was completely exonerated, all the facts pointed to his interpreter and there was no evidence implicating him at all. I don't know what this Hawaii thing is, but just because someone is accused of wrongdoing doesn't make it so, let's see how the story plays out and what the actual facts are. Whenever Trump is accused of wrongdoing, something that has happened hundreds of times, the alt right always claim it's fake news and a hoax, so before jumping to
any conclusions, let's see the facts laid out and what the investigation turns up, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt unless the facts prove otherwise

Every Word from the Scumbag Communists Leftist About Trump, for the Last 10 Years has been a Lie.

They keep repeating the Lies to this Day, because they know there are Brainwashed
Dildo Brains Like you out there...... Who don't Know how to think for yourself , and do not know the difference between your Left and your right.

They'll continue to take advantage of Morons like you.

Democratic Party is the Scum of this Earth.

This Country would have been Destroyed forever if that Dumb D BAG had been Elected.

That Demented Cork Screw left a pile of shit behind for Trump to clean up , and he's been doing a FANTASTIC JOB as President.

You Swallowed that Trump/Russian Collusion Hoax like a Good Little Cult follower.

Fake News stuck it right where the Sun don't Shine.

4 HRs tonight for Schwarber. I remember the last Philly 4 HR game; Mike Schmidt at Wrigley 49 years ago.

yep i remember that wild game... swarber is a hell of a homerun hitter.....his ability to get on base will keep him in the league for a long time...

Red Sox released Walker Buehler, not surprising considering he was on a one year deal anyway. If I was running a team I would pick him up, no question he's been bad this year, but it's the first year coming off an injury, I would bet on him getting right next year and reverting back to the good version of him. Likewise I would also take a chance on Alcantara, he's really struggled his first year back from injury, based on both pitchers track records I think it's worth gambling on both of them

Phillies taking a chance on Buehler….

Not much of a risk. You can expand rosters in Sept. Most likely a tryout to see if he can make postseason roster. If he does, it’s probably for a relief role, I doubt he starts unless they are in a pinch.

Cubs must really be desperate, signing Civale and Santana. I guess they can hope Civale can give them a few innings. Unless Busch recently got hurt, no idea why they'd acquire Santana.

Since I bet the Padres to win the West:

1) Tatis day to day pulled hamstring

2) Bogaerts out for the season fractured wrist

3) Reliever Jason Adam out for season with ruptured quadriceps tendon

Adam was un-hittable versus LAD, huge loss. 😭

Santana used to kill lefties, but I noticed no more. At least he still a good glove guy at first.

Now Billy Hamilton. Has played a total of 3 MLB games since the start of the 2023 season.

speaking of which, Crowe-Armstrong hitting .212 since ASB, getting games off for 'physical mental break' ...

PCA has to be one of the streakiest players in MLB. Ride him while he's hot; fade when he's cold.

The two days off might've helped. 2 for 3 2 rbis and a stolen base yesterday with both singles over 100 off the bat.

Anyone who doesn't believe in recent form in MLB probably never played above age 12. Hitters go thru periods where their mechanics get messed up, and when guys press, it can alter the mechanics. Same with pitchers.

the cubs will work with PCA to take some pitches next spring..one of the best outfielders in the game....the cubs will keep him for a long time

Not just with hitters, but with teams as well. I pay little attention to a team's SOS the last month of the season, it isn't who you play, it's how that team is playing when you play them. Four weeks ago the Yankees got swept by the Marlins, if they played them now they would do the sweeping, any team would have liked to play SF two weeks ago, now no one would want to play them, bad teams get hot and good teams go cold, the Pirates are playing pretty good ball as are the White Sox

orioles score 4 in the 9th to beat the dodgers and spoil yamamoto no hit bid with 2 out

padres 1 out of 1st place

very true...sometimes you can hear the crack of the bat when the team starts hitting real hard

I was watching it live, as soon as Roberts took him out I said the pen will give it up, Yamamoto was at 111 pitches, pitching the best game of his career, with no outs I take him out, but with two outs I leave him in and I don't think it's a tough decision, that loss is on Roberts
