4 HRs tonight for Schwarber. I remember the last Philly 4 HR game; Mike Schmidt at Wrigley 49 years ago.
Hoping that Schwarber stays in Philly after the season ends and that Tucker comes to Philly…two Xmas presents…
The gambling scandal he was completely exonerated, all the facts pointed to his interpreter and there was no evidence implicating him at all. I don't know what this Hawaii thing is, but just because someone is accused of wrongdoing doesn't make it so, let's see how the story plays out and what the actual facts are. Whenever Trump is accused of wrongdoing, something that has happened hundreds of times, the alt right always claim it's fake news and a hoax, so before jumping to
any conclusions, let's see the facts laid out and what the investigation turns up, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt unless the facts prove otherwise

Schmidt hit 78 home runs against the Cubs; the most against any single opponent. Back then, the Cubs and Phillies were both in the NL East.I was in Okinawa serving my military obligations when Schmidt went deep 4 times…good to see Schwarber do it as well….

He wants to play for Cincinnati, lucky for you they're a small market cheap team that won't pay him, so good chance he staysHoping that Schwarber stays in Philly after the season ends and that Tucker comes to Philly…two Xmas presents…

yankees with short porch?...yankees love getting new players lol
Red Sox released Walker Buehler, not surprising considering he was on a one year deal anyway. If I was running a team I would pick him up, no question he's been bad this year, but it's the first year coming off an injury, I would bet on him getting right next year and reverting back to the good version of him. Likewise I would also take a chance on Alcantara, he's really struggled his first year back from injury, based on both pitchers track records I think it's worth gambling on both of them
Phillies taking a chance on Buehler….
It's a good signing, low risk, high reward. Maybe next year he pitches like the guy he was pre injury, if so he could provide help should Wheeler not be readyBuehler making a case for next year….
People are so obsessed with velo the results don’t seem to matter (to them). Definitely style over substance.Misiorowski stats went from all-star to average in a hurry ...
Cubs must really be desperate, signing Civale and Santana. I guess they can hope Civale can give them a few innings. Unless Busch recently got hurt, no idea why they'd acquire Santana.

speaking of which, Crowe-Armstrong hitting .212 since ASB, getting games off for 'physical mental break' ...
Now Billy Hamilton. Has played a total of 3 MLB games since the start of the 2023 season.
Not just with hitters, but with teams as well. I pay little attention to a team's SOS the last month of the season, it isn't who you play, it's how that team is playing when you play them. Four weeks ago the Yankees got swept by the Marlins, if they played them now they would do the sweeping, any team would have liked to play SF two weeks ago, now no one would want to play them, bad teams get hot and good teams go cold, the Pirates are playing pretty good ball as are the White SoxAnyone who doesn't believe in recent form in MLB probably never played above age 12.

I was watching it live, as soon as Roberts took him out I said the pen will give it up, Yamamoto was at 111 pitches, pitching the best game of his career, with no outs I take him out, but with two outs I leave him in and I don't think it's a tough decision, that loss is on Robertsorioles score 4 in the 9th to beat the dodgers and spoil yamamoto no hit bid with 2 out
padres 1 out of 1st place
