So if Verlander gives up 5 or 6 to the Yanks tonight does he suck too?
Hughes is terrible. Nova is average. Those are back end of the rotation guys that didn't even have good years.
CJ Wilson has put together back to back very good years, while pitching in one of the best hitters parks in MLB too

Of course he likely won't. He's much more likely to shut out the Yankees. The point is simply that you draw way too many conclusions from one game. Verlander is the best pitcher in baseball this year whether he throws a CG SO tonight or gives up 7 runs. One performance doesn't take away from an overall body of work.
