You are just an AGENDA ridden poop head, who has nothing better to do than to besmirch the most RESPECTED and ADMIRED man in the OFFSHORE industry!

Good day to you sir!

I also like the odds that are up. Are the odds live or delayed? Also do they refresh automatically or is it on a delay such as 30 seconds?

Hiya, Raiders! Odds are on an auto-refresh every 30 seconds. Same for live scoring.

As for the stats requests ... we have those fed into the site, but our stats providers are VERY cooperative and take all feedback into consideration. You might notice that our live scoring stats are from a different provider, who also give us team/player stats, something not provided by our matchups guys. Over the next couple of weeks, our web guys are going to try hard to link those bits of data up so you can see the stats of the pitcher in question. Hope that helps.

More notes, more notes ...

:)

Not to worry, Santo, I'm sure we'll keep the word spreading around that touts are a really, really stupid way to spend your money, considering that even if they could hit 55%, their fees will ensure you'll end up a loser. And that's the .000014% of them that are honest - the rest being crack-heads who feed their habits with your credit cards.

Hey, Mistah Meyer, have you taken your nightly lithium caps or did you pop in a few viagra instead? I ask because it seems the location of your 2 heads have reversed themselves. May I recommend that you refrain from posting more out-dated 1930s-ish comments and ring up a call girl who might be able to take care of your overdose and otherwise occupy your feverish imagination?

I used to really rag touts, but over time, I realized there was a market for it and if they can make a buck, then they will. The American Dream. I will not pay for picks though. No harm in trying to turn a player off from them with the free picks on forums.

Good post, General. The number of honest touts who could actually make you money after there fees are deducted are probably as rare as an honest politician without anything to hide. The enormous number of absolute liars and cheats in that industry is staggering - it's amazing that people still fall for their poppycock (thank you, Meyer, that term came in handy), and those that do I have absolutely no pity for if they were forewarned.

I'm a bit concerned by the touts selling picks section.. I hope that won't be pushed too heavily in the forums and the rest of the site.

IMHO, touts are not good for this site, only time will tell.

I think the touts actually prefer to be left out of the forums. Concern over having their picks 'leaked' or something, I guess.

Touts will NOT be promoted on this forum.

I totally agree..........

Most of us here are good enough we don't need help with our selections, but the fact is there are many that don't have a clue.

Don't misunderstand me here, I'm not supporting touts, but there actually are some legitimate ones out there that can pick winners, and if they can help win a guy some bucks and get a few passed his way, I see no harm in it....

Hache, if some people don't have a clue than they should stay the hell away from sports gambling. The odds are small they'll find an honest tout, and the odds are good that if they do then that tout my be having an off-streak.

My advice: if you don't know what you're doing, put your money in a bank or invest it in something you DO know about, and stay away from sports gambling because it can turn into a very expensive obsession that can adversely impact your life. If you're only gambling 'fun money' that can't hurt you, why give any of it to a tout? Either learn or leave, but don't give those leeches a red cent.

I also agree with everything you said above Jazz, but surely you can see my point.....

Actually, my motto "somewhere else" used to always be "If you have to pay for picks, then you should not be betting sports"

Good motto - hey, you can be my wingman when that Meyer character wakes up after his nap tomorrow, downs some extra-strength Metamucil and comes in here looking for trouble again. Poppycock indeed dog1

Later, the downers are kicking in fireext

As far as touts go, I would say that 95% of us have paid for them in the past. I know that I did. Most of us have to learn this lesson on our own. Hopefully the post by Jazz will save a few from pissing money down the drain.

Matchup section is nice. In Baseball having records having w/l vs rhp and lhp is sweet. Echo the thoughts of the person previous and throw in the last 3 or 5 starts of the pitchers. Site looks like a winnner. Good luck EOG crew.

Jazz,

The email I sent to Millenium was indeed sent to him by me. After the backlash that BOS went through on TheRx, and deservedly so imo, I felt that it would be hypocritical of EOG to accept advertising money from Millenium, since BOS is their parent company...

There is no way in the world to justify accepting ad money from a company who has proven over time to be thieves, and to make BOS a Platinum adverisor is insulting to most posters who know the entire histroy behind them...

I was very upset to have to take down Millenium because their owner and I were Friends. Although I do believe your money is safe at Millenium, there was just no way to justify keeping them on EOG. They may be run by different management, but the affiliation between Millenium and BOS is still clear...

My email was not meant for public viewing or I'd have worded it a lot differently. My main purpose was to not hurt a Friend by trying to work Millenium back onto EOG as a Diamond Sponsor within 6 months, if ALL WENT WELL.

You can twist it anyway you want it to read, but the bottom line is that I was dropping them, and trying to do it gently...

As for your question about Doyle, I can't answer it because I don't know...

Good luck, you take a lot of heat about certain issues (often times deserved), but you seem very passionate about anything you involve yourself in. cheers

The passion is strong right now. Can I talk about the force? LOL

Welcome valdosta.

Thanks, gl on all your tennis picks. I don't follow anyone on anything because I mostly just bet boxing (and very few know more than me), but your tennis threads did catch my eye before you came over here. I am sure you do very well for yourself, you seem very knowledgeable. cheers

Nothing but the best to everyone here at EOG.

Look forward to many years of enjoyment and Thank You to
THE GENERAL for your friendship over the years.

cheers
