Celtics traded Anfernee Simons to the Bulls for Nicola Vucevic. The C's needed to add a big and there had been rumors they were interested in Zubac, who would have been a perfect fit for them, but Vooch is a good plan B, he isn't the defender Zubac is, but he's a better shooter and someone who can space the floor. They'll be a tough out in the playoffs, and if Tatum comes back, this is a team that could make deep run
 
I was surprised MEM parted with Jackson. He's the only guy on their team that defends.
 
Dallas traded AD to Wash for two first rounders, so they basically gave up Luka for two first round picks, LOL

Washington didn't give up any of their first rounders and kept their young core. But can you see them keeping AD?

Young and him are combined to make over a 100 million next year.

Moreover, he only played 31 games for Mavs. 😅

Probably worst trade in NBA history.
 
Only bad thing about Tatum coming back, it will take some minutes from Pritchard who has been a AStar off the bench.

No guarantee Tatum is coming back, he's being saying he might not be ready, might want to not risk coming back at less than 100%

It's a shame him and Irving couldn't stay healthy, the Mavs could have had a really good team, Flagg is a generational talent
 
Dallas is in a very good spot cap wise to get some support for Flagg.

He has exceeded expectations.

The problem is san Antonio is 3 years ahead of them in terms of young talent on their roster.

Anthony Davis is broken now and I dont get the impression that he cares to play for a title or a rebuild.

He will never play more than 41 games in a regular season as he will play 3 games, get injured and be out 10.

Cashin' tickets (paychecks) is what it is all about (Brett musburger)

Harden wanted out after he Learned Clippers weren't going to extend him.

Clippers shopped him and Cleveland said they would extend him.
 
The Clippers are the poster child for the NBA now. IMO, best team in the West last season, this season they begin to rebuild. The long storied franchises are history now. Every team is worried about age.

Zubac is really good, I know the Celtics wanted him, but this is a good trade for the Clips I think, they get Mathurin who can play, and two first round picks, this years pick could be high in the draft, possibly top 5, I also liked the Harden for Garland move

Would have cost the Celtics more than just Simmons , to get Zubac.

Simmons got them Vucevic and under 1st Salary cap apron.

Vucevic and Tatum both average over 9 rpg.
