Are you sure? The Knicks have outscored them by 6 this series and by 33 in 8 games this year. Only a miracle shot by Haliburton and/or a missed goal tend call in Game 1 which came when the Knicks were out of challenges is the difference between the Pacers --320 and the Knicks -370 heading into Game 6.Yeah that never gets old, LOL.
Knicks have the best player but Indy has the better team.
As Indy backers we can just pray the Knicks keep trying to play at the same pace this series.
Actually, I live by the opposite. When a homer jumps off and says their team cannot possibly win, it's usually the time to back up the truck. This comment is not one size fits all. Depends on the homerAbout "homer" takes in the NBA or other sports, for that matter: When the homer backs his team, ignore the comments.
When the homer makes a case against his team, listen carefully.
Additionally, homers are good for detailed information (roster moves, injury info, morale, etc.) about their favorite team.
Typically, homers are "out-of-town stupid."
They know their team, but they're ignorant about the rest of the league.

I don't think they were overconfident. Game 1 disaster aside, they were outshot, plain and simple. Indy 73/187 from 3 while the Knicks were 62 of 197, difference of 33 points on less attempts. Teams were virtually dead even percentage wise in the regular season. Toughest thing to cap in the NBA is 3 point shooting. Indy had games of 5/25 and 3/30 vs the Knicks this year and lost while they went 17 of 33 last night. They were better last night and deserved to winKnicks Got High on The Horse After Beating Celtics.
They Learned Quickly That The Job Wasn't Finished.
Regular and postseason combined they're 80-18. They also broke the record for most double digit wins with 54. They might not be the 91 Bulls, but they're pretty fucking goodOKC price is mind boggling, they're certainly not the 91 Bulls,

Of course in crunch time the ball is in the hands of SGA, but that's the same with every team. Every team puts the ball in the hands of their star in crunch time, Tatum in Boston, Brunson in NY, Haliburton in Indiana, Jokic in Denver, Ant in Minny, Mitchell in Cleveland, I could go on and on. I don't see anything wrong with giving the ball to the MVP in the closing minutes. And OKC is more than just SGA, they have several end of game options, but SGA is their best option, so of course he has the ballA team that looks to one guy only in crunch time (SGA) should never be -530 in the NBA.
Ever heard of Jalen Williams? He's ten times the player either of those guys werei agree with you heim...OKC stats are there BUT something is missing with this team.
No Kerr, armstrong , paxon
let's see if they can win
To clarify, I don't know if the line is high or not, I'm just pointing out that the fact SGA has the ball at the end has nothing to do with the price of the series. I actually give the Pacers a puncher's chance, before the season I made a future on OKC +750 (posted in this forum before the season so the haters can fuck off) but I think the series will be competitive, the difference in the end will be the Thunder's defense, which is the league's best, I'll say OKC in 6A team that looks to one guy only in crunch time (SGA) should never be -530 in the NBA.

Jalen Williams made all NBA third team. He averaged 22 points a game, he's a pretty good #2 IMOThere's a lot of teams that have legit #2 or #3 options.
80-18 this year, and more than half those wins came by DD's. I don't know what constitutes a "super team", and maybe they're not one, but they're pretty fucking goodthey're not a super team by any means

If you define a "super team" as a team with a "big three", then I guess they're not one, they're a team with one great player and whole bunch of good ones
so the line was -900 with denver
and it was somewhere about -750 with indy
so does this mean indiana is better than denver? that doesn't sound right to me
time to tune into Vsin today
I also think the series is a little high, think the Pacers will be competitive, I have Thunder in 6Can't disagree with you Kane but still think the price is a bit high.
SGA blows a wheel in G1 and what happens then?
