They need to scrap the season...this will be a nightmare. They are already earmarked to spend 150 million on just expenses for the players, housing,
arena, food etc...

The NBA restart plan all seems so arbitrary.

Question: How did the NBA select the 22 teams that will travel to Orlando?

Answer: The 22-team plan includes all teams that were holding playoff spots when the season was stopped, plus all other clubs within six games of a postseason berth.

They should have just taken the top 16. I think taking 22 was a pure grab for TV money. They did need to have some exhibition games, but they could have been among the top 16. The East had a 5 1/2 game gap from #8 to #9, and the West had a 3 1/2 game gap from #8 to #9.

Do we really want to see sports start up like this?

There wont be any college football. Everybody should plan accordingly.

And if and when they do you can expect to see even more big names pull back due to contraction. Leagues are just missing the point despite the nation's eagerness to restart

There's a rumor out there about the eight non-bubble NBA teams to meet in Chicago for a sort of Loser's Tournament.
