Can you please list the smilies that you click on and another smilie shows up? Feel free to use this thread for testing as well. I will fix/repair as noted. There are a few naming errors which I have found a fix for.

I don't see ANY smilies available (except the icons). Smilies On is "on".

Maybe Firefox is reason.

I do think it is a firefox setting in your case Sir. I looked at your profile and you should be able to see them. I did change a setting and if it causes you a posting/viewing problem, please email me for help. General@eog.com
