Deion is so polarizing, negative, positive, basically a coin flip. I'm sure teams knew his son would be a packaged deal. Off the field antics are almost a guarantee, and teams knew this would be anticipated. Best case scenario he should be fortunate that there are several rounds left, then again he could also go somewhere undrafted, but that looks like the least attractive result. Reputation speaks volumes and beyond.

It's not under the surface it's on the surface. No one wants the drama when there are serious doubts about his ability.

If he was fantastic he'd have gone near the top, and if he was fantastic they wouldn't have had to retire his number at CO in a sad attempt to hype him up.

Hunter will play, at this point Sanders will be a backup at best, have to wait for an injury. he might even be the 3rd QB on a team.

fair game to knock his character; again stats and talent indicate either QB1 or QB2 as all the experts predicted. no football has been played since the ratings came out.

stats approaching those of mahomes, same league ...

He didn't play top competition and while his stats were good they didn't win. Lots of guys from small conferences have great stats, that alone isn't enough.

You’re the Jets with Fields and Taylor, or the Saints who could be without Carr, and you don’t take a shot at Sanders in the 4th round. I mean, not that big a risk at this point.
