NFL trivia question

I don't think Elway was originally drafted by DEN. Some deal later.
Tebow sucked, Elway drafted by the Colts, refused to play for them and told them either trade him or he would play baseball, he was drafted by the Yankees, the Colts traded him to Denver, it was a decision made by the owner, not the GM, after the trade he resigned

How many missed tackles did the Bengals have?

There was clearly 2 on Loveland's catch and score. As bad as their D has been, it keeps getting worse. Below is their opponents YPP:

Cleveland 4.6
Jacksonville 5.7
Minnesota 6.1
Denver 6.4
Detroit 6.0
Green Bay 6.8
Pittsburgh 7.3
NY Jets 6.9
Chicago 7.6

In the 21st Century, taking running backs only, no QBs, only one RB with over 100 career carries has a yards/carry over 6. Who is it?

Very small sample size, he will have a regression to the mean very quickly.

Many of the top yards per carry averages are QBs. Michael Vick number one.
Trivia question – who has the highest average for a white running back (not QB)?
AFC, 60’s-70’s

As for Demercado, there’s a reason he didn’t get cut following the goal line toss (I still contend he crossed the goal line). He clearly has Achane like explosiveness.

As for mean regression, that won’t necessarily happen right away. I heard more than one well known tout betting Dowdle UNDERs after his first big game. That hasn’t worked out well. RBs running with confidence and anger tend to keep overperforming, until injuries hit them.

Yes, it’s Marv Hubbard!
I ran into this stat a few years ago, and it surprised me. I viewed him as more of a run straight into the line fullback, where if you need to pick up 3 yards you can always depend on him to pick up a couple yards for you.
But he had high yards per carry averages every year, he was not a fluke.

As a big fan of the Raiders from 1968-1977, I’m very well aware of the college where they both went to.
The answer gives me a strong urge to brush my teeth.
