A Vancouver win tonight or in game 7 tightens this right up for an interesting finish for most of the group. A Blues win puts a few guys quite a bit ahead and will leave not much of a race left for the group. I didn't realize when setting this up how important the first round was going to be pointwise.

I think I barely made it as I saw on espn.com the clock on the game score go from 20:00 minutes to running after I posted as I went to the Espn website to see if the game had started or not, hoping that it hadn't, after I posted my picks (currently at the library with no TV access). Then went back here to write this note.

FWIW the time of my post #62 with the picks was 5:20 Pacific Daylight TIme ( 8;20 eastern time), right before the puck was dropped with no score. If I was trying to game it, which I wasn't, I certainly wouldn't pick the losing side in an on going game. I simply thought the game time was 5:30 pm Pacific, which was my mistake. Luckily (apparently not -- as my pick lost) I barely got it in on time.

OK. Were now into round 3 of 4. If you want to hide your selections till after we've all posted I think that's a good idea. We should have done that last round actually. I wasn't thinking at the time. Someone not in the contest like maybe Computer Bob? if he's interested. If not we'll find another.

Interesting Conference Finals games both for the league and this little contest. The Islander 7 seed makes this wide open still.

Western Conference final starts Sunday at 8PM EST. [That's tomorrow]. I haven't heard yet as I'm typing this but I'm assuming the Eastern Conference Final is Monday.
