Re: NJ sports book news

30 days online will begin the newspaper said. What does that mean ??? website or app ...or both ???

nobody will drive 2.5 hours from up north if they have to be in person for every deposit & withdrawal . The books would be smart to make everything online except the first signup. Otherwise it won't work with the people who live far.

Re: NJ sports book news

The Meadowlands will put their Book where the existing food court is

there is talk about building another building for sports betting also. Down the road there will be casino's too up north if they can figure out not to hurt what is down in AC.

Re: NJ sports book news

Bergen county pop is 950K, LAcounty is 3.9 M So LA out numbers Bergen 4 to 1. Id make a limit bet there is more sports bettors in Bergen than LA county.

Re: NJ sports book news

Betfair has huge limits, that was 5 years ago, I know they took bigger bets than any Costa Ricans. reports of 7 figure soccer bets, 6 figure tennis bets, and in game tennis wagering

Re: NJ sports book news

I can see Betfair taking over like Pinnacle did circa 2007, they are so much better than anything out there today

it seems like CGT got muscled out of the meadowlands? Or is the stand alone sportsbook the meadowlands talking about going to be CGT ? Something is planned for sure.

if it is reduced like you say this could be a reason why they were escorted out or pushed out the door. The british are coming the british are coming

They sure did. A couple of years ago they had a football contest at the track that Cantor ran. That was supposed to be their 'in'.

I wonder if TVG/BetFair/Paddy did a wink wink nod nod with them and leveraged their signal on TVG to get the deal.

you could be right on that. CGT will be in Atlantic city for sure but hard to think them not being in north jersey where most of the people are. Time will tell.

i think you would have to look at more people per square foot. Hudson county would beat both hudson county just across from NYC

top half of bergen county has some woods.

Bergen county (Meadowlands) has a population of 905,000.Middlesex County(Newark) 810,000. Hudson(Jersey City)634,000.Essex County 784,000.

Lots of money in these surrounding counties

california is much bigger than new jersey . When it comes to square foot Jersey the easy winner. California wages are higher than NJ (all things being equal )

Re: NJ sports book news

It seems like there will be websites & mobile in New Jersey . Too early to tell for sure. They could be using ewallet too. 14 day checks If Atlantic City wants northern N.J business they would need easy deposit online/mobile and withdrawal.

PPH could very well in NJ will feel a loss this coming football season / world series.

Re: NJ sports book news

Love the hours at Monmouth.

Most sports books in Las Vegas close by 10:00 p.m.

so that means with squarepants info the lines in NJ will be out before Las vegas . 8am NJ time is 5am las vegas

has the balance shifted ? what is Las vegas game plan?
