'cos you have to go out and find another house to buy.

but all is not lost,

this little beauty is in budget and local but i might have to change my name to Gomez Addams :)

35% above market value is the offer. but it's relative.
a replacement property will wipe out any profit.
unless i want to live in a crappy modern rabbit hutch assuming Emma would let me of course :)

it's a little less but after taxes and various fees it will come in just over.

but that's the norm in my part of the world for a descent house and don't forget it's not real money :D

this is what we're looking at buying after the sale of our much loved current house goes through.

in an ideal world we'd stay where we are but some scum bag developer is building apartments next door and has offered up oodles of money to vacate so he can build on our place.

it's quite a cool cemetery

it has 2 VC winners interred (our version of the medal of honour)

and if i die there the idea of having to be driven 3 miles away to be prepared and then driven 3 miles back to be planted makes me giggle :)
