Well, this is pretty damn close, the variances no doubt are due to specific sources, update frequencies, etc.:

UNITED STATES
54,808 CONFIRMED CASES
775 DEATHS

from lvrj.com's coronavirus page at 6:44 p.m., which is drawn from that worldometers site

The reason the Dems held it up was to make sure Trump didn't profit off the virus, originally the bill would have allowed for a 500 billion dollar slush fund for the republicans to dole out as they saw fit, and when a reporter asked Trump who would be in charge of the oversight, he responded exactly the way I expected, he said he would be in charge of the oversight, LMAO. Under the new bill, Trump and his cronies can't profit off it, no money can go to any Trump owned business. Waiting an extra couple of days to ensure Trump doesn't get a big piece of that 500 billion was well worh it

Two days ago their were 100 US deaths, which was the high, yesterday there were close to 150, which is now the high. I remember Raiders keeping track of how the deaths were slowing down, haven't seen that chart in a while

I told myself last night i'm going to make an effort to not click on any number reporting sites today, until around bed time at 10 pm

if you are going to the worldometer site. I would say. Look at the states that already have reported new cases. Those are the states that may have reported some of their death totals already.

if they haven't reported any new cases and that column is blank and white, they haven't reported their deaths and they are coming later

as things get busier I wonder if reporting data is getting to be less a priority

There's a story about a group of people in KY who haled a "Coronavirus party", one of them just tested positive, wish I could have seen the looks on the faces of the other party goers when they found out one of them got it

We had 225 yesterday, prob a fair bit more today, the deaths will explode in the coming days as all those infected people from 6-7 days ago might now be dying, the more recent ones prob not yet.

New cases are more interesting, watch those numbers, it looks like a fair number of states are stabilizing - wash for example - cuomo keeps saying they are first - wrong, WA was first and their numbers are pretty stable.

He said two weeks ago that everything would be over and life would be back to normal in two weeks, meanwhile we're about 3-4 weeks from hitting our peak, things are going to be real bad for the next month, and Trump wants to open the country by Easter, wants all the churches packed

. . . so safe to say that the at least then-reported bottom number was 791 when the top was at 55,555. So Dell Dude was short by only 14 on the bottom at that point.

1.4 death rate, i agree with del dude that death rate was overstated, i think it goes below 1pct like trump says, i put it at 1.15ish for contest

Its because they have tons of chinese and an abudance of other unclean immigrants in high density, stress amd weak lungs from chain smoking

That +225 day-over-day number is measured from roughly midday, monitored betwixt and between other pursuits.

Over the past three days, that number has been, in reverse chrono order +225, +145, +112. So trending up, along with the total case counts. Haven't done any math to see if there has been any significant change in the overall US mortality rate from day to day, which likely would be noise anyway.
