Another team who has changed throughout the season is Kentucky. Slowed way down and defense has become their go to since sec games have started. The Auburn game was the outlier.

Also west Virginia is slow 1h and fast 2h. No idea why.

Virginia is known for their defense but on offense they arent working the clock like in the past. They have some nba dudes who can get their own on offense.

When u get your own on offense your team will suck. U want a high assist rate

Sporty you might want to just use conf game stats only if looking at 1st/2nd half numbers this season. Many out of conf games are garbage.

I only use conference game stats because of the same reason you gave.

The ratings being higher back then have nothing to do with the shot clock and everything to do with superstar players staying in school for 3 years or more. Jordan/Worthy/Perkins etc....there were great player rivalries built that never happens now.

It's bad hoops and ratings because there isn't any player continuity with the best teams. One and done is what has killed college hoops

As far as the big west attendance goes nobody has ever gone to those games – it's a shit conference with shit basketball
