Not one single post in over an hour from 8:36 to 9:36 on Tuesday Morning.

#1 REASON ANY business fails, is failure to listen to the customer.


They thought that they would be #1 forever just because.
It was ok to treat the posters like shit because in there mind it was a privaledge for you to post there and not the other way around.

You can never be assured of staying at the top. You have to treat your customers with respect.

I will still post my baseball plays over there from time to time because I have been posting them for 5 years. But its just sad to see how poorly run that joint is over there.

I will probably get banned for this thread over there so what.

Just telling it like it is.

Part of the mods job is to interact and start posts. Some of them just collect some free money....... post less than before they became mods....

Be actively starting and responding to threads. No bashing, being contructive. Make the place lively.



Becoming a Great Moderator


The best Moderators are skilled facilitators who are able to keep subscribers within the focus and stated purpose of their Forum. In some cases, the purpose is defined with a narrow focus; other times, the focus is wider allowing for the conversations to flow unfettered. It is up to each Moderator to pick a style that suits their personality and allows their passion and enthusiasm for a particular focus to consistently shine through.


Another job of the moderator is to stimulate conversation in the forum. By being active 4-5 days each week, you will increase the interest in your Forum. After all, who wants to sit in an empty room? A good Moderator ensures that his/her Forum is inviting, active, and an asset to the Discussion Forums as a whole.


What does really mean?


Generally, Moderators have a threefold responsibility:
  1. ensure that subscribers are following the FORUM GUIDELINES
  2. foster lively discussion
  3. Assist NEW members.

Authority and Responsibilities of the Moderator


Moderators can:
  • Post a new topic
  • Post replies
  • Be notified via email of each new post or topic
  • Edit messages
  • Delete topics or messages
  • Move topics or messages
  • Have multiple moderators in one forum
  • Make announcements

Wil banned me for 2 weeks, so I banned myself for 20 years. The mods there are a bunch of stuck up fools who think their shit don't stink, people get tired of that, that's why I barely post here.

Ive read 5 or 6 useful theads and did some interesting PM exchanges with some RXers this morning.....its not thriving with main forum posts today or lately that is for sure...but still much much much to love about the RX.

Its just a matter of time.

You will catch up as long as EOG does not fall into the same trap that therx fell into once they become #1.

It is easier to get to #1 then it is to stay #1.

Once people and companys reach the top sometimes they think they can do whatever they want and stay there.

Ignore the customer and soon the customer will ignore you.

I was put on post review for saying WSEX is a safe sportsbook to play at. When I first posted at The Rx I mentioned I had heard about them from EOG. The bastards edited my post by deleting "EOG".

The Rx thought they would be around for a thousand years. But like the Nazis, they thouught they were superior and would conquer the other forums. Its D-Day over there and its only a matter of time before they surrender.

Wil banned me for making light funof some photos of the their bash. I'll never go back there, why would I want to give them any traffic, not that I am some JJ or such, just saying, my IP has been open since the last big pounding they took over there, but nope, not going to register as a new poster, that would be traffic, basically F Wilbur.

At least EOG admits that only you and Mo are paid Mods, openly.

I don't see how a gambling forum can pay a bunch of Mods, or even throw a BASH ! A paid Mod job anywhere is probably going to be very rare. Most Mods at non-gambling forums are volunteers.

It's nice of any forum to throw a BASH...but I think those days are coming to an end.

But the point is, is that the RX is throwing a BASH and will continue to do so....all you guys know that everything slows down in the summer until football comes and there is no forum better than the RX when it comes to their NFL,NCAA football sections...

Like to see an EOG BASH...a bunch of us post at multiple forums and I hope to see some of you in Las Vegas in August...

if rx is slow think 30 times slower here. mods are worse there and do nothing biut without mo here no one paid would start a thread but once a day. they at least dont copy threads to multiple forums which is mickey mouse. if shink was not wacked there would be no 2k challenge and nothing here.

One reason Mo is taken for granted a lot by the posters I think. Does a hell of a job starting a lot of threads and creating discussion. Knows his sports well also.

Two year's ago I organized an RX BASH in Costa Rica...we had 375 people show up with an open bar, live music, and free food...the RX chipped in 1500 bucks to me without me having to ask for it...we had around 10 individuals from the states attend such as Greendoberman, TTinCo, Quantemleap, and Rick from Sports Options with his wife...

The parties or a BASH as you call it will continue because that is part of the RX which posters enjoy and can be counted on...two years ago the RX threw 2 BASHES, one in August and 1 in September....

It is really like a tradition and I don't think it will ever end, unless the forum ends...and the RX isn't going anywhere...

Which brings up an idea of the RX and EOG going in together and throwing a really good party, and it doesn't have to be in Las Vegas...give the east coast guys a break and throw it in Atlantic City during the summer....

I am the only other paid mod...

and you are right I wouldn't start more than one thread a day if I even started that one..

I have always and still do prefer to post in other people's threads

I am not sure how copying threads to another forum is mickey mouse as some people don't visit more than one or two sections of the forum here (and I would bet they don't anywhere else either) however to each their own... 12io4j2w90

I love this place but when ten threads are in both the main forum and bases its seems stupid. a pet peeve for me. No biggie.

I agree with some that the RX should lighten up, but Wil is a hard working gentleman and his devotion to the site is the same as Mo's devotion to the EOG...not easy to run the ship in a straight line all the time...

And to answer Railbird, they did (RX) hire him at one time...the money stopped coming and he took off without batting an eye...
