Rivers Casino nonsense

Have a buddy that has a slot card at Rivers in Des Plaines. They send him an e-mail that he can play virtual slots at their site and here are some credits to play with. Remember this is for fun you can't win or lose real money. He lets his girlfriend play with the credits and she loses them all.
now a box pops up she can buy credits for real money. 7500 credits for $99. Let me say again for real money. You can't ever win real money with these credits.
i would like to know any person who purchased these credits. That would be way dumber than buying football picks from Steve Stevens or Vegas Dave. They should be punched in the face. Maybe it would knock some sense into them.

Wow, the addiction would have to be very very very strong to make a person spend 99 dollars to access slots with absolutely zero chance of winning.

maybe they were just hoping people wouldn't realize they couldn't win, while playing drunkenly and sign up?

They are ridiculous but there are some angles you can play with some of them, especially the Wynn and MGM apps. If you don't buy credits basically you can't get the best prizes, but if you do spend some money you can get very good room rates. I have heard from a few people who also have taken advantage of paying for credits and then creating excess value in player card points with them. Not saying all situations are good, but the Fishheads of the world find ways to get these to pay off for them

The opening odds start here
I play a word game on line called words with friends by Zynga. They actually offer you a package where you can buy coins ( not monetary in value) for your real money to earn letters, and to stop real-time commercial advertisements in length that interrupt the game for more than a minute in between games. It's amazing the waste companies will lure the public into buying these days!

Arlington horsemen sign 2 year deal with Churchill Downs. Racing to began late July. Quality of horses will be worse than ever. Larry Rivelli will dominate like never before.

Backstretch opening Asap. Paddock will be selling pharmcutical weed and gummies. 30 days of racing beginning late July. Bryden is very happy hearing this news.

Thanks for the note, BR.

Racing returns to Arlington Park on July 23.

Unfortunately, no spectators will be allowed to attend.

How the hell can you deposit for this 100% match bonus promotion? Checking account and PayPal only right now? Just take a pic of a check and they'll make the $250 available right away? No credit or debit yet in Illinois? I don't get it.

30 days? I assume it goes thru Labor Day? Kind of Saratoga like......with 1/10th the talent in horses.

Get rid of the Polytrack. The horsemen and bettors don't like it. They already have a great turf course. No reason Arlington can't be the premier summer track in the Midwest.

How does that differ from normal times in the past?
Fridays are not bad. Basically a big beer garden on the east lawn.....bunch of people head there from work....drinking and not betting.

I have been out of Chicago area since 2015, but I do remember Arlington being a "go-to" place for many after work on Fridays. It was a great atmosphere. Not sure how many of those were betting more than $2 a race, but they certainly had good sales of overpriced beer and food.

I think it's a regulatory thing, Iowa banned credit cards and IGB is probably going to follow suit. You should see this new SBK book in Colorado. They only allow bank wires or Skrill. I tried to put money in Skrill but it's nearly impossible, been waiting 9 days so far to get a small deposit in there from my bank with no sign of money showing up yet. If only they had a bank transfer option

There's actually a documentary about this somewhere. Don't remember the name of it. But some lady lost hundreds of thousands of dollars because she was so addicted. She had no chance to win anything.

She was suing the software company because they refused to close her account at one point. Then she begged for them to reopen it and they did.

One of the most bizarre things I've ever seen.

Her entire life savings was gone playing a slot machine game she couldn't win any money on.

This is the first time I've heard of the Rivers Casino. But it's a bit unusual because I've been playing for a long time and this casino isn't familiar. Surprisingly, I often use this source with american express online casino. Now I try to play casinos more often, improving my skills. Honestly, whatever the casino, a lot of time and nerves are spent on the game.

They have locations in Chicago, Pittsburgh, Philly and upstate NY. The one near Chicago is only about the 5th highest grossing commercial casino in the country. If you haven't heard of them you must not be much of a follower of the industry or maybe only play out west?

Most Illinois casinos are taxed at 15% for their sports betting revenue but Rivers Casino is taxed at 17% due to their Cook County location.
