Rookie Kyle Orton was named the Chicago Bears' starting quarterback Sunday

Another Day, Another Dollar
Orton's performance in Friday's 16-12 victory over the Buffalo Bills, when he led an 81-yard scoring drive, and Hutchinson's second straight shaky outing -- 3-for-14 passing, two interceptions and three sacks -- prompted coach Lovie Smith to make the move.

Also, Bears rookie running back Cedric Benson of Texas ended his 36-day holdout by signing a five-year contract.

Benson, the fourth overall pick in the draft, was the last remaining first-round pick to sign. Terms were not available but reports said the Bears had offered a contract that contained $17 million in guaranteed money.

Great decision. This team was going no where with Hutchinson. The rookie will struggle early but this is the best move for the Bears that gives them a shot to win.

lol. What about Quinn last year? That game he played against Dallas when Krenzel went down may have been the worst QB performance I have seen in the 20 years I've been watching the NFL.

Go Bears GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
