Has joined the California Horse Racing Board.

Now lets get Santa Anita shutdown, once and for all.

The track is really bending over backwards to please liberals. Now 5 independent vets pre-race are involved. Does Feinstein and PETA
really think that's the solution? It might limit some lame horses being suspiciously dropped, however this new remedy is not going
to amount to much.

The new remedy, with five independent vets, will allow Santa Anita to complete the season.

That's all that matters to most of Santa Anita's customer base.

Now there's talk of Breeders' Cup management changing venues.

Santa Anita is scheduled to hold the Breeders' Cup on November 1 and 2.

I didn't know caring about horses dying was a liberal thing

No way in hell the venue gets moved. The Euros like Santa Anita, and the turf course is much wider than at Del Mar. SA also better equipped to handle a big crowd.

Jerry Hollendorfer barred from both Santa Anita & Golden Gate Fields. Dead time of year until Del Mar opens. If Dmr bars him, I'm guessing he relocates his barn to Kentucky.

Trainer Jerry Hollendorfer is “no longer welcome to stable, race or train his horses at any of our facilities,” read a statement published by The Stronach Group Saturday afternoon. The track said that the decision was “effective immediately.”

The news came after a fourth of Hollendorfer’s horses broke down and was euthanized. American Currency (Exchange Rate), a 4-year-old gelding was breezing on the training track Saturday morning when he broke down. He was eased, beaten 28 1/2 lengths, in his last start in a claiming race on May 17. He was claimed at Golden Gate two starts back by Hollendorfer for $20,000. American Currency was listed as a vet scratch out of a $12,500 starter allowance at Santa Anita June 16.

The Breeders Cup isn't moving anywhere. From DerbyTrail.com:

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 27, 2019) – After a meeting of and discussion with its Board of Directors today in Lexington, Ky., Breeders’ Cup Limited affirmed by unanimous decision its commitment to conduct the 2019 Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif. on November 1-2. This will mark the 10th time the event will be held at Santa Anita, the most of any host venue over the 36-year history of the Breeders’ Cup.

“Foremost among the core values of the Breeders’ Cup are the safety and integrity of the competition and we hold ourselves, our host sites and our competitors, to the highest standards of both. It is clear that meaningful and effective reforms and best practices have been implemented in recent months at Santa Anita through the collective efforts of The Stronach Group, the Thoroughbred Owners of California, the California Thoroughbred Trainers, and the California Horse Racing Board,” said Craig Fravel, President and CEO of the Breeders’ Cup. “We fully embrace those reforms and will devote our time and energy in the coming months to further advance those efforts. We look forward to showing the world the best in Thoroughbred racing at one of its finest venues.”
