Skattebo's the #1 ranked HB in the league.

LOL, it's like some random baseball player leading the league in BA after three weeks, get back to me when they're halfway through the season

There's a difference between production and quality of play. QB's are the best example. I've been saying for years that Daniel Jones is a good QB. He never had help.
Prescott, Wentz and Love are better than Allen and Mahomes? Henry #8?

Kane said it earlier. It's too early to read much into individual stats. I agree Daniel Jones has looked good so far and needed to get away from the NYG and the "offensive wizard" Daboll.

This isn't meant to be argumentative but more of discussion. What you said above is contrary to the stats you posted using old school. PFF ratings are on current play. Skattebo has been breaking tackles and his blocking has been excellent. He deserves the #1 rating.

Skattebo averages 3.8 YPC, way below league average, the thought that this kid is the best RB in football is laugh out loud funny

I don't care where he grades, the thought that he's the best RB in football is laugh out loud funny, I can think of 20 guys better than him without even thinking

Okay, you're right. Skateboo is better than Jonathan Taylor, Bijan Robinson, Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, Jahmyr Gibbs, Josh Jacobs, CMC, Bucky Irving, James Cook, Kenneth Walker, Breece Hall, Alvin Kamara, De'Von Achane, Travis Ettiene, Chuba Hubbard, James Connor (pre injury), Aaron Jones, Kyren Williams, among others, Those guys aren't in the same category as Mr 3.8 YPC Skataboo

Better than the majority of them guys, can catch block run yds after contact. Hi iq player 1 of 1

Mouse over where it says yards after contact and click, it puts them in order from most to least, Taylor 1st Skattebo 24th

As one who bet the Saints today, very thrilled with that fumble.

Maybe the advanced stats like Skatteboo, right now Judkins might be early Offensive RoY favorite.

According to analytics site Pro Football Focus (PFF), Cam Skattebo holds the #1 overall grade among all qualified halfbacks in the league through the first four weeks of the 2025 season, with an elite grade of 83.7.

This top ranking is a comprehensive measure of his all-around performance, factoring in every play he's involved in. His high grade is supported by his excellence in specific areas:

  • PFF Overall Grade: 83.7 (1st out of 46 HBs)

  • PFF Receiving Grade: 79.0 (2nd)

  • PFF Rushing Grade: 82.3 (3rd)

While he may not lead the league in traditional stats like total rushing yards at this early stage of his career, his top PFF grade indicates that on a play-by-play basis, he has been the most effective and highest-performing running back in the NFL so far this season.

Skattebo is the leader in yards after contact. The Giants OL sucks.
You said he leads the league in yards after contact, he's 24th. that's okay, it's perfectly understandable to confuse being 1st with being 24th, an easy mistake to make

This is a decent rookie class of RBs: Jeanty, Judkins, Croskey-Merritt, Hampton and Scatteboo. Article on espn.com today about it. But the guy they claim that is winning the advanced stats isn't Scattebo, Judkins or Jeanty; its Croskey Merritt.

I'm on board tonight with Scatteboo. Over 46 1/2 rush yards at MGM. I see 48 1/2 at other spots. Philly run D hasn't been great. All five opponents have topped 100 rush yards.
