We are getting closer and closer Cannon. Matchbook has changed the entire scope of the industry, more will follow suit and soon enough the hold percentages are going to be much more fair to the player. By the 2011 football season I would be suprised if the majority of the books are not dealing 14 cent lines or less.

There are a lot of books out there to play at. All with different business models, different vigs, and different clientele. If you'd rather play at Matchbook than BFC, anyone is more than welcome to do so.

What a precedent BFC set. If Pinnacle has a moneyline that is higher than BFC, you can expect your bets to be cancelled. A well deserved "D" rating for this horseshit book. Stay away or expect your wagers to be cancelled too if you get a better line than what Pinnacle is offering.

You can get better lines than what Pinnacle offers sometimes if you have enough outs and watch the lines closely enough. But it will not be by MUCH. And better by 60-100 cents on a first half line WILL be cancelled. :)

That is more than many offer. Books make mistakes all the time, frequently they wont even give you your money back to play with until the event has completed, at which time they will call it canceled. BFC Canceled the bet before the tip, much less the result.

Don't be sorry for how I feel, I am not sorry for how you feel. I am sorry, however, that all of this transpired as it did. Its ugly when mistakes occur, but BFC has been good to many here and in this instance that made a decision before the game tipped off. Hard to say at what point a line officially becomes a clearly erroneous one, but this book deemed the line to be off by an amount significant enough to cancel these wagers. The players deemed the line off enough to make max wagers on the game. The book didnt determine how bad the line was on their own, the players did as well.

I think that, in this instance, we may be able to do a little something better than just a small free play. I don't envy either partys position in this matter.

Ruca I have never been much of a fan of yours and I think you are one of the biggest RUBES on here but I really feel bad the way they screwed you on this deal. You should have won but they were successful in making you mad and then try to get back what you already won and then they knock you out on the second half bet. Don't ever send them another nickel. If you can't bet at Pinnacle or Matchbook send some money to 5 dimes. Never bet at a book rated below a B. And I mean never.
