Sportsbook freeplay rules

I used a freeplay for a totals wager in MLB and it pushed but they took the freeplay money away as if it were a loss!

Is this standard practice?

I think it is at most books thats why you never place a free play wager on an event that could end in a push but IMO the book should let you place the bet again

Add "rain out" to the list of where you may lose your free play money.

So for MLB you can only bet indoor games with a half run total and you have to hope the game goes 9 innings.

What an intro by a book - I sure won't put any more money in there.

Anyone know how BOS grades free plays?
