sporty............is that the 10k buy in where u keep the 5,000 and what you win ?

i think my son is in it..................he mentioned wanting to go partners in some 5k draft kings thing
i told i was up for whatever.

he has done work for roto grinders.....................is that a site ?
and other dfs sites.

he is really incredible with that shit.
i dont have the patience for it.............if i lose $50,grand on a baseball game
i dont lose a wink of sleep

but if i lose $500 in dfs
or $500 on a horse race

i wanna choke someone
and kick my dog

its crazy.

subscribe to the channel.................and ask him
any question or request for a video...............he'll do it

i think i'll be just doing my Factsman Friday videos there until bases
You are correct. I think it starts Friday. Not sure.

Yes you get a 5k roll and everything is bet through their app.

The bettor who runs up the 5k the most wins $1M. I think 2nd is 350k.

I like the contest idea.

Good luck if you join your kid. I've watched a few of his videos. Solid stuff.

if a line can be verified, what’s 3am got to do with anything?

Your premise is the problem, AA.

Some 3:00 a.m. numbers are never available to the wagering public and we've seen in the past some shady public handicappers take advantage of the situation.

Pretty sad that a contest with 2 grown men with a history of gambling where the money isnt even a yawn in their life turns into something that teenage girls would consider petty.

The fact that this contest needs 9 pages of rules to close all the loopholes is sad. But I'll keep watching cuz I'm a sucker like that. Lol.

Sporty hits a winning note yet again.

If I can't win on the square, I don't want to play.

Some cheating gamblers possess more moves than Kevin McHale in the low post.

Just a casual reader of the thread and contest. With no alliances or bias.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with what Facts did. Against the rules? No. That should be end of story.

He ended 3-3 with his 1st half plays. That could have been 6-0. Could have been 0-6.

Your plays still have to win.

The quarter plays were the issue....apparently the rules did not allow them....

If the rules didn’t allow them, then why were they allowed? This doesn’t seem too difficult to decipher.

Rules clearly state which wagers can be used. 1/4's are not there so the powers to be think it is/was loophole. Lol, tsk.....tsk.

Quarter wagers were not excluded in the original set of rules.

After Joe tried his correlated stunt, we eliminated quarter wagering.

More importantly, we only wanted the handicappers to risk one wager per event.

Joe negotiated with Birdie and me that he could play up to four wagers per event this month.

That was a compromise reached by all parties involved.

Moving forward, we may go with one or possibly two wagers per event.

ComptrBob was a big help in getting the right set of rules after a loose set of rules were originally crafted for the contest.

Lesson learned: Letter of the law > Spirit of the law.

Quarter wagers were not excluded in the original set of rules.

Betting on the oscars were not excluded
But doesn’t mean they could wager on it
It clearly stated what you could wager on!
Quarter bets should have been voided
It’s black and white!

SHOTCALL0, betting on the Oscars was excluded in the original set of rules because we named the sports (NFL, NBA, NCAAF and NCAAB) available to both handicappers.

I only added this rule (Contestants must select full-game sides or totals, first-half sides or totals and halftime sides or totals) AFTER Joe's correlated attempt.

I appreciated ComptrBob's input who suggested we allow Joe's seven plays on one game STAND and then BLOCK the attempt for the remainder of the event.

FACTS argued he entered the competition so he could play correlated wagers (not parlays, but individual bets), so we negotiated a compromise between FACTS and BIRDIE that would allow FACTS to submit as many as four wagers per game.

Moving forward, we are likely to limit contestants to only two wagers per game over the 30-game contest.

Do think halftime bets should be eliminated though

So does Birdie.

But I like to see halftime wagering available because it is now such a big part of the betting menu.

In-game wagering would be tough to monitor but tracking halftime wagering is a much easier to task.

One note about the rules: If the two contestants agree to a special rule for a monthly contest, we can make amendments.

I said that is the only way I would do this...........if the winner was graded by units W/L and not a W/L record. If you want to put a limit on the dog price one can play - fine. But for me making picks on a -110 line I'd get killed and I know it. Allow me to make plays at +130 and have it count as +130 and not +100 and I am IN.

i looked at the odds and possibilities on the contest
and its clearly putting up 5 dimes and crossing your fingers

sure the big prize is appetizing
but to win it you have to play contrarian............and beat a lot of people

almost like if kershaw was pitching and 90% of him is owned
you almost have to take a shot with a david price and save the money
to stack a lineup

i advised against...............told him put 10k of your own money up
from noon to midnight

and its you against the book.............keep all u win

sure its worth a shot............i'm just protecting my kid
other ways to skin a cat

his dfs name is uncle dunkle not sure if i spelled it right
but u should be able to find his history
i can get the exact spelling if you want

Entertaining post, Joe.

"Can I get a rundown?"

The Internet changed everything.

Many years ago, I called Ladbrokes in England looking for Breeders' Cup odds.

I asked the clerk for a rundown of current odds in the Breeders' Cup Classic.

The Englishman on the other line then cried out to what sounded like his superior, "The bloody bloke wants the prices on every horse!"

my best guess is anyone under 30 never heard of a rundown.

or starting the call with ............"whats my figure"

the place you called was THE OFFICE

good times those days
but i like the new technology of today

Halftime score: Virginia 27 Clemson 21.

Clemson only scored 1 basket to stat the 1st 13.30 minutes 4 points total
if Virginia got any scoring from Jerome they would be grading the full game by now.

nice to start the day with a win...............

couldn't post any nfl games
rail locked them all in....................so i had no option

tex tech +2 @b.m and other spots on his play
rail had to lay -1
