Take rubberband off the bankroll on season win total and bet UNDER.

He's the most fraudulent piece of crap I've seen in a long time.

Peyton Manning was the worst QB in the NFL by a wide margin the year he won the super bowl with Denver.

He could take over an elite defense in the right position and do just fine. Which is what he did his other 2 super bowls. He was never an elite talent or QB.

He's done, he's under a long term deal anyway, they could cut him but the cap hit would be huge, and if someone did pick him up they'd have to pay his 20 million or whatever , and no one is going to do that. Manning wasn't even that good when they won their 2 super bowls, his few clutch big games(or perhaps it was clutch catches by receivers) masked his mediocrity.

8-4 record in the playoffs "wasn't that good?" LOL.

Manning has two years at reasonable dollars ($15.5 million and $16.5 million) left on his contract but he also has a no-trade clause.

"If the Giants don’t want him, they should try and trade him to try and get a conditional third-round pick that can improve based on performance. That is not an unreasonable price for a starting QB. But if he won’t waive his no-trade to where the Giants want to send him, he could force his release. The risk for Manning is signing a new contract that may not pay as much as his Giants deal. They do owe it to him to trade him where he wants to go. Manning proved well-schooled in NFL politics and dictating where he plays a long time ago."[/FONT]

The last two years - any of it guaranteed? Could they just release him and not pay him? Man, 12 good players on IR and not a lot to play for from early on. I cannot see why it is all Eli's fault? He is definitely a throw em open down field qb and needs that kind of wide receiver that can go get the ball.

The whole world sucks when your team is 2-10. I do not think they are as bad a team as their record. But, if you were Eli would you play for the giants again or tell them to shove it? Who has the right personnel for Eli and who would really want him and could fit him in?

Supposedly denver(manning memory) and jacksonville( tom caughlin) are the only teams who would take a sniff.

Good fit---- Cardinals maybe.
A qb on a veteran team like Denver is probably worth 4-5 wins. Broncos need to fix their OL also. It’ll be interesting to see where Alex Smith ends up at also, he won’t be in KC.

he moves like a fat cow, and is a turnover machine. he played on the only team that could hide all his ineffeiceny last 10 yrs, he will suck even more if he continues.

Eli Manning has never won a playoff game except for those 2 super bowl seasons.

Eli just happens to be one of those few Quarterbacks that if you have a team capable of winning a Super Bowl..... He is one guy you want! Period. Nothing anyone comes up with outweighs that FACT. How many teams in the past just wanted one of those guys. He won 2 Super Bowls with teams that had to do it on the road. I'm not an Eli fan but you got to give him his greatness whether you like it or not!

I agree.

Eli has never truly carried an offense, he's at his best when he isn't asked to shoulder the load. With the right pieces surrounding him (RB, protection, playmakers) then he's the right QB (e.g. Jacksonville). The Giants have done Eli no favors on the back 9 of his career ... journeyman RBs and pedestrian linemen.

It's sad to see his current play....reminds me of Willie Mays' last few years with the Mets.

Eli is bad, but that offensive line is awful. Immobile QB and that line spells diaster.

How did this team beat the Texans? Texans even needed garbage TD to make it a one score game -- at home to boot.

Gmen were a 63 yd FG away from winning in Carolina last wk. NFL is one tough nut to crack.

Lol last night when Buck said NYG brass looked at the current crop of draftable QBs & saw no franchise QBs so they took Barkley.

They would have been better off drafting an OL or trading down. They will need 2-3 years to fix the OL and have a new QB ready, Barkley will be playing his 4th season - the average career is 4-5 years.

The OL is bad, but so is almost every OL in the NFL currently. The difference is a QB's pocket presence, and mobility both inside and outside the pocket. Eli has none of the above anymore. KC's OL is the same one Alex Smith was getting sacked behind at a high rate. It's the QB, and how he deals with pressure, both real and imagined. The QB makes an OL look way worse than it actually is, or way better than it actually is. The starkest example of this is The Pats in 2007(Brady), 2008(Cassell), 2009(Brady). Basically the same OL, but 20-30+ difference in sacks. Nate Solder is the same guy he was(but richer) protecting Brady's blind side and Eli's blind side.
