I did not see the final series, but why would he roll out?

He didn't roll out, he just took the snap and started to run back several yards, there was enough time on the clock that had Mahomes taken a knee as soon as he got the snap, and did that three times, they couldn't run out the clock, so instead of immediately going down, he moved around for a few seconds before going down, the extra seconds he wasted was enough so that they wouldn't have to punt. I had Over his rush yards and as soon as he did it the first time I knew I was fucked
